One fine summer day, Theultralord told me to meet him next to Punch and Vise. Over the past few weeks, a friend of his named Dark-Obelisk was working with him to establish a guild. Now Theultralord was a big fan of Sparta (long story, involving another computer game called StickEmpires), and wanted to name the guild "Sparta". Sadly, there was already a guild in that name. So, I gave him the idea of making it "Sparthens"! (Sparta + Athens, DUH) And thus the idea of another guild in the Spiral Order, a guild named Sparthens, was formed.

A month later, I recieved an invite from Theultralord to this new guild. I joined without the least hesitation. You should too!

Abbreviations you should know about

Theultralord is called "Ultra." I will refer to him as "Ultra" here as well. Dark-Obelisk is called "Dark." I will do the same here. I, Phoenix-Wyvern, am called "Pheo." Other authors will refer to me like that, hopefully. Loduten is called "Lodu" and that's what he will be called.

About Sparthens

Sparthens was made for a few key reasons. Like most guilds, it was dedicated to the mastery of the delicate art we know as beating up monsters and getting to the core. In a shorter form, we wanted to master Spiral Knights.

Now, Ultra and I were BIG readers of this Wiki Page where all the amazing knowledge of Spiral Knights is stored. From the wiki, we had learned a lot, maybe too much, and we had already planned our knight lives out to the fullest (ish). The Athens part of Sparthens compelled Ultra and I to share that knowledge. Many of our guild members are young knights, and they often ask for help. What better way to help than to share our knowledge! Dark came from Brick Squad, a major Coliseum guild. If you want to learn about how to use weapons well, just ask him and Lodu. Lodu is like a Sudarsuka master, so any of you Troika users out there go and talk to him! Together, we form the mostly-elite circle of the Commanding Officers of Sparthens.

Our guild is a social guild devoted to having fun, above mastery of the game. We are still developing, but we want to be as nice as possible to everyone!

Guild To-Know's

1. We have NO mandatory donations UNLESS you participate in one of our guild events like guild boss runs, in which some of the profits MUST go to us. 2. We are a developing guild, so we are still pretty small and bland. But our goals are to become guilds like Is A Vampire, Rogue, Hamsters, and Echo of Silence. 3. We absolutely love new ideas and contributions!

Ask yourself. Would you really want to pass up an offer for a guild that treats you like family? If you want to join, send a mail to me, Ultra, Dark, or Lodu. I recommend me and Lodu because the other two aren't on as much these days. So send us a mail and we'll be happy to invite you!

To Advance In Rank

Recruit to Member 1. Donate at least 10k crowns 2. Give at least one good idea or one major contribution that our GMs really like. 3. If the GM and/or officer refuses to honor your work, ask him why. If you feel his answer is unsatisfactory and you think you deserve the rank up, feel free to MAIL a different guild master or officer WITHOUT punctuation errors. You must clearly state why you think you deserve the rank up.
