Lichen colonies attacking each other

I have discovered that if two (Giant or Normal)Lichen Colonies come too close to each other, if you can bait one into hitting the other (normal colonies must use their melee) they will fight each other, and not directly attack you. Is this a new discovery, or did I just miss it somewhere else? I have a screenshot as well. Image:Duelinglichens.png --Skelatox 19:15, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Well? Did I discover something new, or am I just terribly unobservant?--Skelatox 11:42, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Late reply: my party and I once encountered something like that. We stood dumbfounded at a distance and wondering why they wouldn't attack us. We suspect that they were trying to merge but it turned into an attack instead. Not sure if that is intentional, though. Saphykun 17:20, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Yup, I also saw a Lichen Colony and a Giant Lichen Colony fighting. They didnt manage to kill each other, so I threw a fire vial and got eaten. loljk EDIT:It's prolly due to them attempting to merge, but they would go over the size limit if they did, so the AI switched to another ability. When I saw them dueling, they were alternating between attacks. xPlad

Yea I saw it too but anyway once the lichens go into colonies, they cannot merge with other colonies

New form of Giant Lichen Colony

Gell reports that the GLCs can upgrade their attack to explosive goo if you let more lichens merge into it. This sounds like fun to do. Who else wants to go out and confirm it? :D Saphykun 17:20, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

Quicksilver with spikes??

I was in a mission, I think it was lvl 14 or 15 Clockworks, and I saw multiple lichens that were gray with tiny spikes on their body. I don't see any lichens that match this description. --Sorelooser1

It's the new jelly look! --Cobalt 03:12, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Really? Did they change them? Anyway here's a pic: Quicksilver with spikes --Sorelooser1
Yup! Tier 2 and 3 Jellies now have spikes and a ranged attack. --Cobalt 06:41, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Soul Jelly?

Does anyone know what this is? Besides it being what is already said/shown on its table.

Simply put, it's just a lichen that looks cool :) I've only seen it once and all it dropped were 3 crowns. Saphykun 15:58, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Here is a video of a soul jelly. Possible text: "The soul jelly is a small lichen with a dense skull floating inside of it. It is rarely found in place of regular spawning lichen. Its dense nature prevents it from being shield pushed like regular lichen." I got a gel drop from mine. I'm guessing it has a regular lichen drop table but who knows. Eek5 22:12, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Should I put out an alert, telling people to record what drops out of this jelly?--Eternity08 16:42, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Met it today, took a picture with it. It dropped some crowns, heat and a Rocky Core. --Teos_ef 16:57, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

In the video the soul jelly dropped a gel drop which is not on the drop table can someone fix that?

Quiksilvers attacks

Can anyone confirm the electrify attack they get when supercharged deals elemental damage or just normal + shock? Juances 03:17, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Toxilargo and Friends

Has anyone acctually SEEN a Sloom, Sloombargo, Toxilargo, or Oiler Baron In-Game? I haven't seen one since the Preview Event. --Zardica 20:23, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

Found Toxilargo a while ago. It always spawns in a specific level (undead or "haunted" stratum, skull icon, as if it had a boss). --Teos_ef 17:02, 15 November 2011 (UTC) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________---

from this video it looks like an oiler has an attack where it charges at you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anIwbdxuLxE&feature=player_detailpage

Lichen spin attack can stun

ive been stunned from a giant lichen colony's spin attack, pls add it to that overview table

http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Giant_Lichen_Colony#Giant_Lichen_Colony

it can be useful information, because shields are very vulnerable to status effects

Lichen ranks and loot

Has anyone ever done a cost/benefit analysis of the loot Lichens drop at different levels? It would be an interesting and useful piece of information, especially for farmers. LegionaireB 21:12, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
