Organizational Method of Materials

Update as of October 31, 2013. (Includes 16 sprite foods and 3 new materials from Shroud of the Apocrea.) Update as of August 6, 2013. (Includes 7 new materials from July 30, 2013 update.)

Organization of crafting materials is implemented and sorted as follows.

Sorting of Icon Families. (Icon families are a set of material icons that are same in detail with differences in color scheme.)

  • 0. Monster drops are featured first. Non-monster drops (via Vendors, Shadow, Expansion, Guild) are featured second. Sprite foods are featured third.
  • 1. Lower rating of lowest-star material in icon family.
  • 2. Lower rating of highest-star material in icon family.
  • 3. Higher number of materials in icon family.
  • 4. Alphabetically-earlier name of lowest star rating material in icon family.

According to Release Notes 2013-07-30:

  • 2 star materials and higher now only drop from a specific monster family.
  • Some rare monsters now have a chance to drop new items.

Make adjustments to the "Dropped/Obtained From" column of materials table accordingly. Also adjust "Drops" for each monster in each monster details SK wiki article (e.g. Gun Puppy, Devilite) to match up.
