Now, should the Tortodrones be classified as Bosses or Mini Bosses? There's a lot of them (the ones in the mission are duplicates) but they don't have their own strata of monsters even though they are immensely powerful. Could the be "extremely dangerous mid-bosses" or could they be actual centrepiece Bosses? --HexZyle 05:50, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

:My definition of Mini-Boss was any boss like monster that was not one of the 4 main tier bosses. However, you definition does make a lot more sense than mine. It's a lot more definite and doesn't push all future bosses into the mini-boss category, as I highly doubt we will get any new tier bosses any time soon. As for the Tortodrones, I would say that they are simply dangerous mini-bosses. They only have the single level dedicated to them, and although they do have a bit of lore it doesn't directly pertain to the player. <br> --Reevemasters UTC/GMT is 10:00 on Tuesday, March 4, 2014

::I was thinking that individually, the Tortodrones are minibosses, but collaboratively, they're a boss? Kinda like the Rabid Snarbolax Twins. They don't really appear separately unfortunately, maybe they can be classified as mini bosses if they ever are re-released into the clockworks. BTW, Black Kats aren't on this list. Where should they go? Has anybody gathered information of how much health they have? I think they're drawing pretty close to a miniboss. --HexZyle 19:13, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Bosses

Mini bosses are monsters that outrank all their fellow monsters in various attributes, but don't have any defining backstory, nor do they occupy a series of levels designed around them. They may not even be unique, tending to sit in the middle of a level rather than be the centrepiece at the end. Razwog is a boss, he has health comparable to the Snarbolax, and is strongly defined over the course of two missions as a protagonist (has his own entourage of monsters, summons a miniboss, and even has voicelines) If the collector appeared in more locations and hindered the party, he could be classed as a miniboss, but he also has considerable health and a difficult battle. The danger mission bosses are also bosses: they have the equivalant amount of strength, backstory and leadup challenge as some of the other creatures already in the boss categories. The Ironwood sentinel and battlepods are just "big enemies" that randomly pop up around the place, and don't have much reason for what they do apart from to give the player a challenge, so they remain as mini bosses.

I was thinking that individually, the Tortodrones are minibosses, but collaboratively, they're a boss? Kinda like the Rabid Snarbolax Twins. They don't really appear separately unfortunately, maybe they can be classified as mini bosses if they ever are re-released into the clockworks. BTW, Black Kats aren't on this list. Where should they go? Has anybody gathered information of how much health they have? I think they're drawing pretty close to a miniboss. --HexZyle 19:13, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
