Guild History

Prime Champions was a name used for a prior group located on another MMO (which will possibly remain unmentioned here). It was reused on Spiral Knights for the sake of preserving the memories once shared between the Guild Founder and most of its members. Madcodebreaker had eagerly created the guild in hopes to reunite some of his former friends. Soon after that, his other Guild Master Mineko joined shortly afterwards.

We believe in working to excel our members, beyond what they were capable of doing before. Although that doesn't really mean it will happen overnight; patience is a virtue. After all, that's what makes us champions, Prime Champions.

Recruitment

We are currently recruiting; we require you to have the program Skype, if you do not own a microphone that is alright, but it is easier to talk rather than type out commands. You may be in a cluster of monsters, and a command might be given, you won't be able to act fast enough and will most likely miss the opportunity if it were to be typed. If you are interested send a message to Madcodebreaker or Mineko.

Recipes

The following recipes can be crafted by the corresponding members. (Please supply materials, Crystal Energy, Crowns, as well as the unbound precursor weapons, if applicable.) Often 1 star and 2 star items can be purchased in the Auction House more cheaply than it would cost to make them, (Including UV's.) for this reason we strongly recommend you check there first. Make sure to always refer to alchemy paths first.

Market Trading

Prime Champions very own Zemstvos is the creator of this idea.

The Crowns to Crystal Energy on the left. The Crystal Energy to Crowns on the right. Each will be explained by ratios meaning; "Cr:CE and CE:Cr"

First, you want to be sure you have enough crowns for a Cr:CE trade. At the time, prior to when this was written the price was 7.38:1.(Meaning 7,380 Crowns for 100 CE.) Then, you want to take a look at the CE:Cr side, before trading at all. At the time, prior to when this was written the price was 1:7.5. (Meaning 100 CE sold for 7,500 Crowns.) Basically, this is all mathematical proportions and you need to be very careful in your math as well as your history in trades. If I started with 7,380 Cr, and bought 100 CE, then re-sold the 100CE for 7,500 it would be profit right? - Well unfortunately the system doesn't allow the gain of CE that quickly, there is a 2% rate reduction when you sell 100 CE. (Note: ONLY WHEN YOU SELL 100CE THERE IS A 2% SUBTRACTION OF CROWNS)

The math being:

  • a(2)/100=b
  • a-b=c

a = The Cr in the ratio CE:Cr

b = The 2% of the amount of crowns you make from selling 100CE

c = The amount of crowns you make with the 2% reduction.

As you can see with the given senario would make you lose 30 Crowns each trade. The following formula would show you the equilibrium between the rates, showing you the perfect amount you would need to sell your CE at if you want to trade them from Crowns vice-versa.

  • d(2)/100 = e
  • d + e = f

d = The Cr in Cr:CE

e = The 2% reduction

f = The perfect selling price of crowns for your buy.

Now, the prices go high and low, you always need to be on top of the Market if you actually want to make profit. The profit seems small and miniscule, but from experience I made about 59 Crowns per trade in about a minute. Now at the time I had about 52k, so I made over 200+ Crowns from just typing numbers in a minute. You can repeatedly upscale this, it's great when you wait for things in-game or are just generally bored. If I chose to be consistant with doing this for over an hour I could have made 12k Crowns+, now that's some profit.

[This is not for everyone, you need to be very quick with your trades, and smart. I suggest you keep a log of every trade you make in order to keep some type of knowledge of your profit, the key thing is to keep track. If you can take advantages of the change in trading ratio's you can be making near double if you trade at correct times. Any questions you can ask Zemstvos in-game, thanks for reading!]
