Agreed, so far as I can tell. While it would still be underpowered, however, its main problem is that it doesn't allow you to move while reloading, last I checked, making kiting all but impossible. There should be some place to mention this on the page.

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but this gun is wholly useless, am i right? a tiny bit more damage than a proto gun with a far smaller ROF means miniscule DPS.--Skaramuche 06:35, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Agreed, so far as I can tell. While it would still be underpowered, however, its main problem is that it doesn't allow you to move while reloading, last I checked, making kiting all but impossible. There should be some place to mention this on the page.

  • The big difference is that this gun will frequently have a knockdown effect in the early parts of the game. Also, the shot travels much faster than the Proto Gun, making it easier to hit monsters that dodge a lot. --D0gr0ck 17:30, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
