== Guild Summary ==
Devilite Inc. is highly active and organized guild founded by Yakunan and cared for by our New active guild master, Sirthomasrb, whom is active nearly everyday. Our guild consist of mostly players with at least extensive Tier 2 experience and a quite a few with Tier 3 experience. We do frequent "King of Ashes" Mission runs ,Royal Jelly Palace and Ironclaw Munitions Factory runs and aim to train our members to be efficient at defeating Lord Vanaduke, along with the other bosses. Our Members are a delight to be around and we expect our recruits and members to be kind with a sense of humor as well with a positive Mind and attitude. Most of us are generous and if you need something as simple as a material we will mail it for free (not shadow lair materials of course). We strive to be mature and willing to improve, including our higher ranking members who are not here to put you down based on skill. Instead we prefer to be positive and help you be better skilled by offering suggestion on how to improve your skill or even as simple as what gear you should get. We value member feedback on how we're doing, so if you see some flaws as a member of Devilite Inc. let us know. We aim at being more elite on PvE (player Versus enemy) overall, and we also do guild shadow lair runs and of course prestige danger missions daily, we're not much On PvP at the moment but in the future we plan on at least being able to play LockDown/Blast Network together every once in a while. and as the name Devilite Inc. Implies, we like devilites , a fiend type monster notorious to be one of the most difficult enemies to handle in the game, especially on the Danger mission known as "Heart of Ice" and even in normal levels with devilites (assuming it's tier 3) can be difficult to complete to many players, not only do we love devilites and their cute little offices, and roleplaying each guild rank as a certain type of devilite [ex. Pit-Boss = Guildmaster] But we also strive to master levels and missions that include them, as well as other hard missions. So if you are that PvE determined player, Join us and help us get more active and running more smoothly.

:Due to Yakunan (our founder) no longer being active in the world of SK, she has entrusted the leadership of Devilite Inc. to Sirthomasrb, this rank is achievable, upon dedicating to manage the guild, being an elite tier 3 player with endgame gear, and being very active among playing spiral knights, and extensive knowledge in the game and its elements, this is not something labeling you as "better" it is something I prefer suitable for the guild-master status as it is necessary for helping even the lowest tier members know everything they need to know about the game, and to help them become independent, and of course as a final requirement, you must have my full trust before I even consider making you a guild-master, just as a safety measure and guarantee inquiry.

*Instant-Noodles- A truly elite and mature member of Devilite inc. Instant-noodles is a great survivor for even the most difficult parties on a run, and having seeing his skills on shadow lair runs I accompanied him on, He is truly fitting to the rank of officer, and is a Very polite and mature member as well, I couldn't ask for a finer officer, and other officers alike.

*Kurzatem (Inactive)- Was a very well skilled officer, and aside from completing the officer test, He was one of the most mature members this guild has seen, and has also shown great management skills on the guild wiki and the guild itself, and truly impressed me upon his unique gameplay style, sporting the Chaos set for any situation, showing great thinking "outside the box" for game-play in general.

*Yanda- a Pure Elite Gunslinger able to solo wide array of difficult missions/tasks and widely notable for being one of the most Kindest, most helpful and polite members, and is a delightful guild member overall, and quite active on the side, with great reliability on runs of any sort.

*Dahkura- One of the few people in this game that I consider to be a good friend of mine. She (OMG, yes she is a girl so please stop asking) has forgotten more about this game than I will ever know so she can be very reliable with any question pertaining to Spiral Knights. Along with pretty much knowing everything there is to know about this game, she is a very social member with a fantastic sense of humor. She honestly will improve your time with this game if you get to know her because she is really that nice of a person. It has been an honor to have known her for this long and I hope we can continue to be good friends for years to come. -Some dude

We have a "guild council" that currently consists of Sirthomasrb and the officer(s). They have the charge of determining the rules of the guild, determining who can become an officer, as well as other responsibilities.

Even though we are a very active and social guild - as well as master trolls - there are a few things you've got to take into consideration so you don't get yourself kicked out; (If you have been kicked and want to return please see the section below)

We are a community guild and want to treat all of our members with respect. The same rules for our videos and podcasts apply to our guild and guild chat as well. Multiple or blatant offenses may result in removal from the guild without notice.

Some good guidelines to adhere to are:

*Advertising anything on guild chat must not be spammed, and should asked briefly, you may advertise more if more members log on. Just be sure to greet them first!

*If someone is annoying you, just tell them. Preferably in a private message.

*Don't Demand things like promotions, supervision for testing, crystal energy or crowns, it is disrespectful to the guild. We are all generous initially, but we have to care for ourselves as well.

We would like you to be active. It's not that hard just to pop in every once in a while to say hi or check on your friends. Seriously, just log in and do something. Now that we can see when each member last logged in, if you are going to be away for a long time due to something that may or may not have come up, let us know. We have no idea where you'll be so we'll assume you've left SK for good and you'll most likely be removed.

*Don't demand things like promotions, crystal energy, or crowns. We all try to be generous, but we have to care for our own banks as well as yours.

Please note: We are no longer accepting random requests to join the guild. See "Recruitment and Promotion" above for recruiting information
+
If you're going into hang in the guild, we would ask that you stay somewhat active. It's not that hard to pop in and say hi from time to time, and if you're part of our Spiral Knights community, it shouldn't be terribly difficult anyway.

WE REMOVE PLAYERS AFTER APPROXIMATELY 1-2 MONTHS OF INACTIVITY. (If you come back, simply PM Sirthomasrb or an officer and we will gladly invite you back into the guild and restore you rank initially. This is not to be confused with being kicked for misconduct.)

* Do not spam requests to be reinstated, this can serve to delay reinstatement or even ban you from the guild.

* Do as they request. Don't be shy about it, but remember, you don't have to be overly specific if asked for reasons behind your actions.

There is a probation period for reinstatements for a determined amount of time. Currently it is a month. This will be shown by staying at the recruit level until the probation period has ended. During probation, you will be watched closely. Any misconduct will be acted upon promptly. Violations resulting being kicked again will result in you being banned. At such point, you will not be allowed to return.

We really hate bans - we think they're no fun. If you are kicked from the guild by an Officer without explicit reason, contact Latisan or Lord Hood with the name of the person who banned you and what you think might have been the cause for the ban (no need to be TOO specific, but we need to know when talking to that Officer).

If you were banned by an Officer with good reason or banned by Latisan or Lord Hood themselves, you probably won't be making it back in. We take bans seriously and try to give grace before administering them. If you still cannot adhere to the rules and are removed, you don't have much hope of getting back in. Sorry!

(From Sirthomasrb's viewpoint) I have been in this guild ever since I started playing SK I first joined spiral knights around the fall of 2011, when my cousin Yakunan introduced me to the game. I was immediately made Guildmaster because of our family relation, and the guild wasn't much developed back then but still had a wide member base, was T2 Dominant and somewhere around December, we started getting into T3 more, and began to develop more rapidly, people left and new people joined, and since February, the current members I have are a delight and are highly appreciated, and I am proud to have them in my guild.

Guild Summary

The Sklay Elite is one of two guilds run by the podcast hosts Latisan Sklay and Lord Hood. As the primary guild, The Sklay Elite serves as the home for many guild-less knights involved in the Sklay Elite community.

  • You must have an agreeable attitude when interacting with other members of the guild.
  • You must be mature and considerate.

    • Had an idea or creation featured on the Arsenal Podcast.
    • Subscribed to our Youtube channel.
    • Left us an iTunes review.

  • Having completed the above requirements, contact Latisan or Lord Hood with the following:
    • Your desire to join the guild.

  • We will add you ASAP.

Guild Master
The only way to acquire Guild Master status is to receive an explicit offer from Latisan or Lord Hood. Feel free to ask (if you're a Veteran or higher), but if you haven't gotten an offer, it probably won't be happening.

Rules & Regulations

We are a community guild and want to treat all of our members with respect. The same rules for our videos and podcasts apply to our guild and guild chat as well. Multiple or blatant offenses may result in removal from the guild without notice. Some good guidelines to adhere to are:

  • Have a good attitude.
  • Show respect to all members.
  • Do not swear (hard to get by in-game) or pseudo-swear (easy to get by in-game).
  • Try to be helpful to other members when you can.
  • No illegal activities will be tolerated. (i.e. scamming)

  • Don't demand things like promotions, crystal energy, or crowns. We all try to be generous, but we have to care for our own banks as well as yours.

(If you come back, simply PM Latisan, Lord Hood, or another GM and we will gladly invite you back into the guild and restore you rank initially. This is not to be confused with being kicked for misconduct.)

Kicking and Reinstatement

Our hope is to never have to do this to anyone, but there have and probably will be those who cannot follow the rules. This does not fully apply to those kicked for inactivity. Only those who are kicked for misconduct.

Sorry!

Events

We're a rather small guild, so events don't happen too often. If we're planning a guild event in-game, it will be announced on our Steam page and Twitter.

Events may include:

  • Meeting up and hanging out
  • Farming for crowns or event tokens
  • Raffles or giveaways
  • Goofy events (fashion shows, quizzes)

Associations

The Sklay Elite guild is currently associated with the following guilds.
  • The Arsenal Podcast - This is the secondary guild officiated by Latisan Sklay. We use it for community PvP battles and other alternate needs.
