A member of the Crimson Order who owns the Grand Arsenal. He is the mastermind behind the [[Roarmulus Twins]] and countless other gremlin war machines. He wields the Rocket Hammer, a powerful elemental weapon, and the Dark Retribution, a weapon created for killing fellow Gremilns. He is not technically a gremlin Thwacker but is placed with them because he behaves in a similar way, although he cannot use a health capsule and can drop bombs like a gremlin demo.

Gremlin Thwackers are a type of monster found in the Clockworks.

Traits

Thwackers are the largest, common Gremlins found in the Clockworks. Thwackers are also the most aggressive, using health capsules to tirelessly pursue knights that disturb their many operations. These gremlins attack with an axe similar to the thwack hammer by either throwing or swinging it. Thwackers can belong to Tenderfoot, Ironclaw, or Darkfang clans, depending on which tier they appear in. In deeper tiers, Thwackers become even more aggressive and more conscious of their health. In Tier 3, they will flee and shield against your attacks if they are nearing their demise.

Gremlin Thwackers deal split Normal and Elemental damage.

Types

Tenderfoot Thwacker

Ironclaw Thwacker

Darkfang Thwacker

Warmaster Seerus

.

Void Thwacker

Strategy

  • Thwackers will start to idle when low on health. Knock them down with a slash from your sword.
  • Thwackers in higher tiers will idle in corners (usually on spikes or brambles) and will recover themselves if left alone. This is particularly annoying when done by Darkfang Thwackers as they are immune to rear attacks and often end up facing the wall.
  • Thwackers have a short recovering time after their charged melee attack. Take advantage of this by counterattacking the Gremlins.
