Events

• The Guild will hold a meeting every first and last Sunday of the month where a Guild Master or Guild Officer will be present. This meeting will usually begin at 7:00 PM EST. (if you cannot make it to a meeting because of the time, but qualify for promotion, try to contact a guild master though guild chat and see if they can accomodate to your schedule)
• Make sure to say "Hi" to your fellow guildmates and invite them to arenas often.

At a Glance

The Undying Knights was founded by Flamaxe, Snapragoon and Venoma. Theirs was a guild to be known for its "undying" generosity and its invincible friendship. Due to the constantly changing aspects of both Spiral Knights and the real world, the guild has recently undergone a severe makeover and is in the process of beginning anew. Undying Knights still follows the principles that its original guild masters set out to establish; and the guild's policy is as follows: When you help others, they won't forget your deeds--and members can rely on each other for assistance whenever needed. Undying Knights does, however, have a few new objectives as part of a program inspired and influenced by its own member base. From now on, members are not only helping one another, they will strive to be undyingly kind to all players of Spiral Knights. As a Knight of Undying Kindness, each member should be especially generous and very responsible toward other players. The guild will start its new reputation for reliable players who stick up for one another and for the overall experience that Spiral Knights is meant to convey to its players. We are embarking to break the mold and we plan to amass a copious variety of unique individuals who set the standard for chivalry and proper Knighthood.

The guild will also implement a new promotion system that is clearly outlined and well thought out. It will be detailed below.

The Undying Knights has always had a reputation for having especially kind and generous members who assist others in many ways. Whether its lending or giving crowns and crystal energy or going down into the clockworks to help other players, the Undying Knights will always pay their deeds forward for the good of the guild. This policy is still followed by members of the guild.

Aside from simply helping players on a performance basis, the guild also specializes in information gathering and distribution. Ask the guild a question about Spiral Knights and you will surely get a reliable answer. The guild also attempts to spearhead new innovations toward helping its members and is planning to implement a CE donation bank and a Role Playing system which is currently in the works. With the help and trust of members, the Undying Knights will undoubtedly become a recognizable name in the game's future.

How to Join

To become an Undying Knight, one needs only ask a member! Names will be referred to a guild master or guardian officer who will then contact the interested player. Also if you'd rather have direct contact, feel free to compose mail and send it to a guild master or officer, all of whose names will be listed in the Guild Info box at the top of the page.

There is a short survey you must take to assess your qualities and your capability of joining Undying Knights.

Remember that the Undying Knights is a guild designed around ideas of generosity and benevolence! If you join you'll be expected to try your best to help other members and other players; Spiral Knights needs kind people!

Guild Rules

• Never curse in guildchat or in public; powerless language will never help you convey your kindness to another player.
• Always be courteous to other guild members and players; manners are important in our guild

Moving Up The Ranks

• Recruit: This is your first rank when entering Undying Knights. As a recruit, you have proven yourself kind and generous enough to be an Undying Knight, show your pride as a fledgling member to a great cause!
• Member: To become a member, you need only show up at a Sunday meeting, most often, these meetings will take place around 7:00 PM EST unless otherwise posted. As a member, you are already showing dedication to your guild and your people. Remember to show off your kindness by offering new members mats and even crafting them weapons!
• Veteran:To qualify as a veteran, you must go on a clockworks excursion with either another Veteran, an Officer or a Guild Master. You must also be able to access tier three as you will be expected to perform at the highest level for other players. If you have met these requirements, attend a Sunday meeting and inquire for your promotion. As a veteran, you have demonstrated your uncanny kindness toward other players: you never curse, you are eternally generous, and you are a true Knight of Undying Kindness!
• Officer:The position of officer is very highly regarded and you will acquire much respect from your peers. The honor of being elected to be an officer is given only to those who have bested every boss (not including shadow lairs) and who are online very often. As an officer, you will have the responsibility of coming to Sunday meetings when it is required and you will be expected to have a copy of the new member survey so that you can give it to any prospective recruits. The position of officer should not be taken lightly!
• Guild Master: Originally there were only three, and this will remain so, however if a GM is, for whatever reason, removed from their position, Undying Knights Officers will have a chance to replace him or her as the next Guild Master. Guild Masters are the operators who help make everything happen. As a Guild Master, there is no obstacle you cannot overcome, and you are always willing to help out another member or player whenever possible. At least one GM will always be present at a Sunday meeting.

• The original founders of Undying Knights may have separated, but their glory shall reign forever in the history of the guild. In fact, you may still find them in the guild if you're online often!

Bug Encounters

• On 09/8/2011, Guild Masters Venoma and Flamaxe discovered a bugged gate while exploring the newly implemented Candlestick level from a recent update. Pictured below, the two notified a Game Master who swiftly passed them through the unexpected error and let them continue on to the end of the level.

Influence

• The Undying Knights is a guild meant to help enable members to go on and do their own great things. Because of our values, Guild Masters firmly believe that members should have the right to make their own guilds based on or even inspired by the Undying Knights. Itsureigan is one such guild. SpeedXshadow and SpeedXsonic are currently respected as officers of Undying Knights as well as Guild Masters, or Warrior Princes, of Itsureigan.
