Lore

Charoum is one of the high ranking knights of the Spiral Order. Long before the spiral knights' flagship, Skylark crashed, Charoum went through basic training for exploration missions for when knights were shipped off to explore the unknown corners of space. Fast learner as he was he developed skills ready to take on even the hardest exploration missions. Though while in his dorm snoozing away the morning he awoke to the scream of sirens. The Skylark was being pulled into a gravity field of an unknown planet. As knights scattered to the escape pods, he readied his equipment. The specialists and engineers were the first to be shipped off towards the planet. After he was given the signal to seal his door, he was shot off into the surface of the planet. Slowly opening the latch to the charred, steamy pod, the pod's receiver alerted him with the voice of a rescue agent. The rescue agent appointed him where the campsite for refuge was being structured but, also warned him about the dangers of the surface of this strange planet. On his journey nearing the path of the site, he encountered the inhabitants the rescue agent was warning him about. Acknowledging the aggressive nature of these creatures he had no hesitation of defeating the obstacles. Once he reached the campgrounds he was greeted by the informant. From the time the specialists were on the planet they made great progress of communicating with the native people. Charoum spoke with these people for a brief moment, summarizing the planet's information and situation. As of now, he was standing on the soil of the planet known as Cradle, an ever changed world home to creatures such as the Gremlins and the clockworks. Staring off into the dark night skies of Cradle he knew this place would be called his home. As he slept at the campsite he began building thoughts of the wondrous clockworks. At the glimpse of sunlight, Charoum was ready. Soon he was introduced by the informant the elevator leading down into his first exploration of the clockworks. From what the Strangers said the area underneath would lead me to the elevator going up towards the light of their town they called Haven. He quickly stepped onto the platform, spiraling downward inside the gear turning environment. Within the area was only a few enemies and paths. Guarding the elevator pad were two hulking Lumbers designed by the Gremlins to stun and keep out trespassers. With his swift sword he was able to easily take down the brutes.
