Purples out for revenge with her Sentenza

The Fallen

Purples was once among the Valkyrie. She lived with her twin Anly in the paradisaical heavens for most of her childhood. The two were under heavy training to become brave and strong Valkyrie that would protect and watch over the land of Spiral Knights. Purples enjoyed the physical labor of the training but hated the lectures, while Anly was the opposite. Purples had a strong desire to grow strong and powerful, but was conflicted about whether she really wanted to uphold the morals she was being fed. Anly became the favorite of the two which caused Purples to feel distant from her. The Valkyrie were constantly impressed with Anly's strength and goodwill while Purples constantly struggled to her mentors disappointment. Eventually, Purples started to resent Anly and wished to become stronger and superior to her. Purples found comfort in causing mischief among the people and being ridiculed just made her desire to destroy more intense.

One day Purples was wandering in the clockworks and encountered some devilites who were selling illegal powers and equipment. The devilites expressed dislike for the Valkyries and constantly talked about the idea of overthrowing them. Purples could relate to their hatred and became intrigued by the idea of watching the Valkyrie fall. Purples would constantly sneak out at night to hang out with the devilites and cause much mischief with them, that became more and more horrific with time. The devilites would egg on the idea of Purples destroying and taking over the heavens by stealing one of the sacred Divine Avengers and helping her out, which Purples eventually agreed too.

Anly was going to be promoted to a true Valkyrie which filled Purples with anger and jealously. Purples thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to raid the heavens with the devilites. The ceremony came around and right before Anly was crowned, Purples held the Divine Avenger high and destroyed the place, killing many Valkyrie in the process. Purples walked up to Anly and told her to surrender or die. Anly was horrified of what Purples had become and tried to convince her to stop this madness. Purples did not comply and attacked Anly. Anly realized that it was no use to try to convince the now insane Purples and fought with her. The duel was long and intense, but Anly ended up defeating Purples with the skills only the top Valkyrie master. Anly cursed her twin and banished Purples from the heavens, stripping her from her golden halo replacing it with a dark empty mist. Anly's actions made her a hero among the Valkyrie and the world as she continued to fight for justice.

Purples was tossed into the fiery Firestorm Citadel to rot with the rest of the undead. But Purples wasn't ready to die just yet, she survived and became as strong as ever. She heard about Anly's success with spouted even more hatred in her heart. She now wanders the clockworks trying to obtain as much money and power as possible to defeat her once beloved sister.

The King

Soon after Purples banishment, she met and took up a relationship with Jelly King (Royal Jelly). She found comfort in Jelly King as they both shared the same hatred for the world. The two would spend their days squatting in kingdoms together. Purples felt happiness and belonging when she was with Jelly King and never wanted to leave his side. One day when walking in Garden of Goo Jelly King proposed to Purples and asked her to become his queen. Purples happily accepted as the two remained engaged. But a few weeks before the wedding, Purples noticed Jelly King started to change. He started to become abusive towards her and put more of his attention towards his jelly maids than his fiance. One day Purples walked in on Jelly King cheating on her with five jelly maids! Purples was horrified and heartbroken and left the king that day, and never looked back, even more angry and hateful than ever.
