Hello!

For the time being, I wouldn't upload any monster shots until we get the names confirmed - this saves us a lot of deletion logs in the updates page since it doesn't appear that we can rename monster images. Until then, you can compile a bunch of shots onto one massive file somewhere, and we'll just snip them out as the names roll out. Saphykun 22:09, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

I think he might by going by the names in the Three Rings folder. Cobalt

There's names? Actually, some of them are guesses based on what names I've heard, and the rest are just generic [element] [monster]. Since uploaded files can't be renamed, I'll stop uploading images of monsters with unconfirmed names. I might dig through the folders and see if there are any names revealed in there. [edit] Oh cool, I can rip names from the resource files. Source: ...\Three Rings Design\Spiral Knights\rsrc\character\npc\monster\. Thanks for the tip, Cobalt. [edit2] Not as good as I thought, actually. I only saw names for the new Lumbers and Chromalisks in there. Maget 22:20, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Yup, that disappointed me too xD And yeah, there are names. It's most notable with the Lumber series (ice Lumbers are "Silversaps", Lumbers with axes are "Ironwood Sentinels"). You can see some differences in names with the Zombies too (Frozen Shamblers, Slag Walkers, Drouls, etc.). And since you already uploaded some monster images (perfectly cropped, too!), I put them in a compilation of monster images here: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Monster_Compilations.png You can add to it too, if you like! This way, we can snip them out as names are slowly released. ^^ Saphykun 22:49, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, just did that. Never did find out how to delete things on wikis, or if I even have the user privileges for it. You can delete the misnamed images I've put up and I can transfer them to the compliations image, if you want (assuming you have privileges). Maget 22:56, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Right, I forgot about that. Apologies. I was gonna post on the forums about it but hrrm. I still cannot change the file name or delete it, haven't figured that out yet. Griffinbane

Deletion

Just edit the page and put in {{delete}} and I'll take care of it. --Equinox 00:41, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Recipes for mats?

So they're all updated now? If so, let me know or you can do it: remove that notice from the top of the template for the mat toc stuff. Nice job! --Equinox 12:27, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Probably not. I only went through mats that were on Brink's selling list. If I have free time later today, I'll do a sweep of all the materials. Maget 11:03, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your work though. And yesterday I noticed that some recipes have changed slightly, so I think until we can check them over again, the lists remain possibly incorrect. Eeek! --Equinox 12:41, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh well. I'll continue updating the pages to what the wiki has now. Hopefully, whoever updates the recipes will also update the material pages that they affect. Maget 12:45, 4 April 2011 (UTC) [edit] All done updating the materials with what the wiki knows. I left the MaterialTOC template alone since some recipes have been updated, so I can't be sure everything is accurate.

Marking images for speedy deletion

Don't do it for images like the Toxic Vaporizer Mk III icon if there's still 20 pages listed as using that image... --Equinox 03:39, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

My bad. I forgot about the other alchemy path pages. I'll fix that now. Maget 04:12, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Healing icon

Nice idea! I'll see about making a higher resolution version of it like I did for some other stuff. --Equinox 23:25, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Sure. I used the HP icon from the UI in the game files. The heart icon didn't fit as well with the other attack type icons, since it had no circular background. I could upload the heart icons for the Hearts page if you'd prefer those to the screenshot versions. They're all 64x64 so they won't show the size differences between the hearts, which is why I didn't upload them before. Maget 04:17, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Recipes

So, I've gone through and checked all the recipes to make sure they're correct. I've fixed any that weren't. So, if you wanted to, the materials pages could be checked a final time and we could remove the notice from the materialTOC template... I can do it later, but it's lower priority than some other tasks for me. Thanks for all your work on this. --Equinox 22:35, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

I went through everything up to the dust icons (so, Brimstone is where to start next) down the Crafting#List of Crafting Materials. Not much, but I can finish it in the next few days if you don't get around to it. Maget 20:05, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
You're amazing! Thanks for your hard work on this! --Equinox 22:50, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Awesome work! And level pages

Just wanted to say that I think you're doing an awesome job on the Wiki. I'll be stealing some of your ideas from the Devilish Drudgery page and see if I can incorporate it into the Clockwork Tunnels page. Saphykun 16:04, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks! On the forums, you mentioned something about the gate icons. Instead of uploading each one for each gate like I did for Wolvers Den (yeah, the name is different now, need to fix that), Devilish Drudgery, and Lichenous Lair, I could instead upload a generic icon for each level, i.e., one Shield icon for Battle Arena. Or, I could still go through and make a separate icon for each possible level. The colors used are consistent across themes so it's not too much work either way. The icons are located in \Three Rings Design\Spiral Knights\rsrc\ui\icon\map if you're interested in doing them yourself. Maget 16:27, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
