Things you do not understand

Like why people say 42 is the meaning of life: It's taken from the awesome show, Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy, in which earth gets destroyed to make a bypass, just when earth is nearing the end of it's use. End of it's use? It was made to find out what the ultimate question is, and it's design was made by a giant robot made to find the meaning to life. He told the creators that they needed to know the ultimate question or something like that. The machine, warning the humanoids (some weird humanoid race, that I've forgotten the name of) that they wouldn't like his answer, told them that the meaning of life is 42. Simple, eh?
