Quillion, stranger merchant in the Bazaar

Vendors sell recipes, items, and upgrades throughout the Clockworks. A few vendors have pre-set and predictable inventories (Brinks, Kozma, Moorcroft Manor vendors, Emberlight vendors), but most of them have a randomized list of items or recipes. For the vendors with randomized lists, the ones found in Haven are individually randomized per player every period and Basil, found while adventuring, is randomized per party for each run.

Note: Gear can also be obtained through crafting them or using the Auction House.

Buying & Selling Items

Vendors can sell items to players and buy unwanted items from players.

To purchase an item, click on its listing in the vendor interface to add it to your shopping list. To sell an item, click on the item in your Arsenal that you want to sell and it will be added to your exchange list. To add 10 of an item at a time, hold down the Shift key while clicking.

If you wish to remove an item from the exchange list, click on it to remove 1 of them or Shift-click to remove 10 of them. To completely clear the exchange list, click on the "Empty" button.

When you are finished selecting the item(s) that you want to buy or sell, click on the "Confirm" button. If you do not have enough crowns or energy for the purchase, you will not be able to make the purchase.

Traveling Merchants

Traveling merchants may be found in Clockwork Terminals while adventuring; their inventories are different for each adventuring party. (NB: recipes will only be in stock for you if you fought your way through the previous level in its entirety. i.e. you joined the party at least two levels before the Clockwork Terminal itself: levels 2, 11, 21.)
