Battle Sprite Pictures

Hello! Thank you for uploading this image - but a few things:

  • uploading new images rapidly doesn't fix cache issues. Just wait. Sometimes it takes a few days, even a week or longer to register a change. There's a large notice about this behavior in a box with a red border on the reupload page.
  • please upload a file that is 485×407 - basically the size of the inspect window. Crop to the obvious edge where it suddenly gets dark on the sides. The more recent sprite pictures are this size because of a format consistency effort (vs just randomly cropping around entities). This allows for easier sprite comparison between tiers, and overall image consistency around the wiki for galleries. We will eventually update the old sprite images to this standard.
  • Tag uploaded files. The appropriate tag for your tabby upload is {{sprite image}}. I have done this for you.
  • Use appropriate wiki editing. While the sprite may be "ADOWABLE," please just say "Thanks to user: "name" for taking care of this sprite."
  • It is preferable but not necessary to take the picture while the sprite is wearing an elite iron harness. This allows easier tier and general appearance comparison while keeping the images consistent using an item that all sprites can wear (and odds are, players will have it). Again, just a preference. It is not necessary because editors should never ask someone to spend money for the game/wiki if they don't want to.

Wowee, a lot goes into an image! Have fun,

Looks like someone got to it. Thanks again! Looking forward to more contributions. --Novaster 14:18, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Format

No template/tags on the wiki use << and >> to call them. The things you want to use are {{ and }}. --Novaster 18:20, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

Changing Images

The wiki image cache has more problems than a 3rd grader's math homework. It usually takes a few days for changes show up properly. --Novaster 18:25, 13 July 2015 (UTC)
