Armor once worn by a member of the 'Iron Dragons,' a squad of fearless knights that specialized in the elimination of high-profile Morai targets. After disbanding, their surviving members were united with other squads by Desna to form the Recon Rangers. Group: "Steam Costumes - Snowglobe 2013." This item is similar in form to the Spiral Scale Mail gear. It has thicker armor.
The original promotional image for the Steam Summer Adventure event showed both a Gold Wolf Set and a Gold Dragon Set. The latter not being used in-game. The reason for this is unknown but may be related to the Storm Dragon Helm.
