About Exalt
Exalt means to praise, glorify, honor, high or elevated in rank, position, dignity etc. We at Exalt see our selves as a group of nice people, we mostly enjoy doing clockwork runs but there is a few members who enjoy playing lockdown and blast network and do so regularly. Recently we started playing GLD ( Guild Lockdown ) every couple of days or so. Exalt is populated by both guys and girls, both young and old, some are skilled and some still learning the basics, some are quiet and the others talkative but we all share the same kindness and warmth for each other, we are a little online family. We have occasional guild competitions that we organize amongst ourselves and they usually end up being fun. Exalt is a serious guild, GM's and officers are online regularly and so are most of the members, people are promoted to a rank of veteran based on their personality, skill, equipment and time being in the guild but they get promoted upward based on their devotion to the guild and everyone in it. We are a helpful kind of people always trying to teach and support our friends in both battle and equipment choices, we are also providing video tutorials on how to pass the tests and how to handle some enemies in the clockworks. Most importantly we are all here for the fun with a friendly group of people. We play many games together, games such as Minecraft, Terraria, Team Fortress 2 and many others. We have our forum which is used for organizing events and for the guild news feed. If you like what you read here and if you haven't found that perfect little commune for yourself, maybe Exalt is the answer.
How To Join
All nice, mature people are welcome to Exalt. Any member of Exalt can ask an officer or a guild master to invite their friend to the guild, if someone wants to join on their own, without knowing anyone in the guild they can send a application trough the in game mail to one of the following: Zeeca, Akikita, Hayashi Kuro ( in case they do not get a reply in 24 hours they should try the next person on the list ) or talk to anyone from Exalt they find in haven. Equipment requirements don't exist in Exalt for people who are good friends of our guild members but if you wish to join on your own you need to have a full 5* set.
Before you apply for Exalt make sure to read our rules and promotion rules. Copy these questions, answer them and paste both questions and answers into the in game mail and send it to the person who is recruiting you at the moment, if that is not the case, then send the mail to both Zeeca and Akikita and please give us 24-48hours to reply, we are online everyday but sometimes it happens we aren't, if we don't respond in 24 hours you can try contacting: Hayashi-Kuro, Larpu, Shaarmallama...

- Do you wish to have a high rank? If yes what rank will you be aiming for, what will you do to get it and most importantly, why do you think you deserve that rank over others.
- Is there anything about other players, their actions or anything guild related that can ruin your fun, that you hate or irritates you very much and what would that be?

Guild Rules
Exalts number 1 rule is be nice to and respectful of your fellow guildies and other Spiral knights players, feel free to use the guild chat to present yourself when you join and for any topic that you would like to talk about but bear in mind that there are children in the guild. Do not do anything that can bring the Exalt name down or get the guild in trouble (Insulting or making fun of others on runs or PVP, being rude etc.). Act maturely and don't send random invites to people but rather ask first.
Members who haven't been online for a while might get removed if the guild has no room for new members, lower ranking inactive players will be removed first but any removed member should get in contact with someone from the guild to get re invited when he starts playing again and the guild will do its best to make room for him again. If a member left Exalt on his own and if he did so in a nice manner ( with no insults and raging ) he is welcome to rejoin and take back his rightful place at any time ( if a long time passed since the member left he will then rejoin as a recruit or with a slightly higher ranking )
In case you are too weak to join some mission but you got invited, you must warn the party leader that you are under equipped so he can give you the green light to join.
Before taking your promotion test it is expected of you to know exactly what you need to do so you don't waste the time of the person who is testing you. Before you ask for your promotion or when you are offered to take your test make sure you read the guild promotions section before you start the run, learn what you need to do, if the text is that is not enough watch the video tutorial on how to pass the test and if that still leaves some questions unanswered then ask one of the higher ranking people in the guild to help you understand what you need to do but do so before you go on your promotion run ( promotion run starts as soon as you make a party for that test ).
Storage - Taking things from the storage is only allowed for personal use! Selling anything from the storage is strictly forbidden!!! Taking a big lot of materials from the storage by replacing it with equal value materials is allowed only by going trough a GM/Officer.
Mist well - Taking mist is allowed but has to be re payed by making a donation into the guild treasury in crowns using this formula: <Amount of mist taken> X (times) 0.9 X (times) <current price for 1ce>. Example, if you took 74 mist: 74 x 0.9 x 70 ( 70 is the current price for 1ce which will change over time so use the CURRENT price )
For the remaining rules use rational thinking to imagine what they could be.
Guild Promotions
Members are required to be in Exalt for a minimum of 1 week, have a full 3 star equipment set with at least one 4 star weapon and have proven them selves to be nice people, they need to know about the basic damage types ( which type of enemy is weak to which type of damage and which type of damage is their basic damage dealt, example: All fiends deal shadow as their basic damage and all fiends are weak to pierce damage ). They need to have done all tier 1 and tier 2 bosses. After meeting all the requirements a recruit can request to take his test and become a member by passing it, more details about the tests are given in the "Tests" section of the wiki. Member rank is respected in Exalt, being a member means you have proven yourself as being a nice person and that you can handle yourself in battle. Be proud of yourself, you have just became a member in a group of good people.
Veterans are required to be a Member in Exalt for a minimum of 5 weeks. Members wishing to take this test must be a Vanguard rank. After meeting these 2 requirements a Member can request to take his/her test and become a Veteran. More details about the tests are given in the "Tests" section of the wiki. Veterans are very skilled, well equipped, honored amongst the guild which makes them model guildies. Basically, they are cool, as cool as Exalt veteran sounds :)
Officers An officer is chosen by the GM's. With the level of selection we apply to our members we end up with so many people that are good officer material that we end up raising the bar for officer very high. Officers are chosen when there is need for one, we need officers in different timezones so do not be surprised if a guild member quickly becomes an officer in a time zone where there aren't any officers active. To become an officer in Exalt there needs to be a need for a new officer, also, you must be well known and be a respected guild veteran in Exalt. Officers have a big knowledge of the game and they are able to transfer that knowledge to others, officers are very helpful, always willing to jump in and help anyone, they solve problems before or as they arise, they recruit regularly and take care of the guild web presentations regularly ( wiki, forum, youtube channel ). An Exalt officer is a servant of his fellow guildies, a protector, teacher and also, just another guildie, but a guildie that is working in their gaming hours to make sure other guildies have it good and that is why we honor our officers so much.
Guild Master A rank of a guild master is a supreme honor given to a distinctive few who have tried so hard and worked so much for this guild that they ended up caring more for the actual well-being of their guildies than the game it self.
Tests
Members test In this test the recruit needs to prove they are able to solo the T2 arena, spawn the 8 gun puppy wave clean and do all that without dieing. Spawning the 8 gun puppy wave clean means spawning those 8 gun puppies with no other enemies in the arena or with a maximum of one but, but if that one enemy is killed and it triggers a new wave of enemies while some of the gun puppies are alive the test will be a fail. This test is done in a T2 arena of the testers choice-Veteran/Officer/GM, (beast arena's are never used and fiend arenas are only used if no other good arenas are available), recruit needs to finish the whole arena without dieing and they must to spawn the 8 gun puppy wave "clean", if a recruit doesn't know how to do so he should watch the Exalt tutorial - Members test video. Practice run before the test is recommended. Death or failing to spawn the 8 gun puppy wave clean will result in failing the test and having to wait 2 weeks to retake it. During the test both the recruit taking the test and the examiner are in the arena but the examiner will die at the start and watch the recruit while dead. If a recruit has difficulty passing an arena he/she should ask for help from a higher ranking member, officer is suggested. The whole point of this test is to help those who have problems running the arenas, passing this test will require them to learn about the wave control in arenas which many people do not know about, learning the correct way to do a arena will make it easier on them to run T3 arenas and help them not to kill their fellow party members in arenas by spawning the 8 gun puppy wave during the time while other enemies are alive. Recruit is expected to read the wiki, watch the video and then ask questions if he has some but all that before he even stars working his way down towards the arena.
Veterans test In this test members are supposed to prove they are able to deal with all of firestorm's mobs, they need to be able to kill all enemies in each room without leaving the room ( in some cases leaving the room for a short time like using a pill and going back in may be allowed but not if done often ). This test is done on D25 ( Depth 25 ) level Firestorm Citadel, the Member taking the test needs to pass this level, he/she needs to complete the level without dieing and all enemies on the level must be dead, use of gates to protect against enemies in each room is NOT allowed. During the test both the Member taking the test and the examiner (Officer/GM) are in the level but the examiner will die at the start and watch the Member while dead. It's suggested to view the Exalt tutorial - Veterans test video before you attempt to do your test.
Member is required to show they know how to do the puppy room correctly:
- Killing the gun puppy and running in front of it to the other side
- Going backwards either using a shock or alchemer to open the walls
- Glitching the puppy to look towards the door and then doing the room ( this method is only allowed to players who do not carry a elemental or normal type gun and didn't find enough vials to open the walls and go backwards.
- Not allowed to run in fornt of a puppy and also not allowed to fight while the rockets are shooting at you, those 2 methods will resolve in a FAIL.
Member is expected to read the wiki, watch the video and then ask questions if he has some but all that before he even stars working his way down.
Officers test In this test a veteran needs to prove what is his skill level with all types of enemies. This test is done in the arena "The Gauntlet", Veteran taking the test needs to complete "The Gauntlet" without dieing. During this test the GM will be dead and watching the Veteran taking the test. Veterans a. Veteran is expected to read the wiki, watch the video and then ask questions if he has some but all that before he even stars working his way down. It is recommended to watch the Exalt tutorial - Officers test video.
Starting out in Exalt
Useful information for all Exalt members can be found here on the wiki which is our main information source, party with us almost every night listening to the Exalt Radio or being a DJ as well, Exalt forum is where we organize some events and on our Youtube channel is where we post our youtube videos that are full of useful info, we regularly voice chat in our Steam group which is locked but you can ask a GM/Officer for a invite when you join Exalt. In case you want to organize a event ( challenge or a competition or even a get together in the garden party ) you can use a forum as well but consult you're GM's or officers to post a notification on the wiki about the event or maybe give you some help or advice. You should check the wiki every now and then to see the changes on it since the wiki is regularly updated. Any questions you have, about gear or anything else that troubles you, feel free to ask anyone from the guild for help but make sure that you ask a person that has enough experience to give you a good objective advice, GM's and officers are often a good choice since most of them have alot of experience and they also will know who to point you to if they are not experienced in the matter you want advice for. Do not hesitate to ask other guild mates to join you're parties or ask to join theirs, being shy will get you nowhere :). Our GLD teams are not closed, anyone can be a part of them, just talk to people if you want to join some GLD match, same goes for GBN ( Guild Blast Network ). If you have any fan art made please inform a GM or officer about it so they can post it on the wiki and if you wish to post some screenshots that is ok as well. If in any case you are miss treated you need to notify officer or a GM about it, send a detailed explanation what happened. Most of this info was logical and unneeded for most but some are too shy to ask for help so we try to encourage them here.

Wonderful Winterfest to you!
In light of the holiday season Exalt is hosting a Secret Santa Event!
What is a Secret Santa?
If you've never participated in a Secret Santa, here's how it works: Everyone who'd like to participate puts their name into a raffle. Once the names have been completely mixed up each participant takes a name from the raffle. Then each person then goes out and finds a gift for the person who's name they drew. At this point I've seen it done a different way, but this is my personal favorite method and also is the easiest to do on SK to keep everything anonymous All of the gifts are collected up, and of course labeled with their respective owner, and are finally handed out to their owners in a grand party. In this way, everyone serves as a Santa to each other, and does so Secretly. (cuz secrets are fun)
How do I participate?
Well, if you'd like to participate, it's pretty simple!
To be clear, participating means you will be expected to get a gift for the knight you are assigned.
Now that that's cleared up lets get to it!
All that's left to do is wait for the Secret Santa Party on Winterfest Weekend. (Starting Dec. 22 Eastern/Central)
All of the gifts will be handed out and much celebration shall be had!

We came up with some and just enjoy the others, all of these have proven to be fun and we recommend trying them out:
How to play RAG - ( Players enter the area with the robots in the advanced training hall holding pots and vials over there heads and they need to dodge the robot attacks so they keep their objects unbroken, the person who has the last pot/vial unbroken is the winner. Each person who's vial breaks has to kill all robots before leaving the room. Usually its best to start the round after someone blasts all robots with a bomb, a small bet of 1ce each or maybe 100cr each is recommended. )

We got an idea to make a big guild poster with everyone in. the poster would be made similarly to the image of the officers club where each member would take a screenshot while talking to the NPC ( Non person character ) near the Haven garden, while in the conversation with him your character will appear on the right, that is the image we will be using, everyone who wants to be on the poster is supposed to make that screenshots and send a link to it to Zeeca on steam or post in on the forum but if you have steam, go trough steam, add Zeeca by visiting the Exalt steam group ( Exalt-Spiral knights ) and add the member called "ice" and send him a link to the screenshot you previously uploaded, in case you are forced to post you image elsewhere you can just post a link to that image in the forum page instead of posting the actual image. As for the poster it self, the initial idea is to have all the cutout characters lined up by rank and have a little square around their image, basically like a yearbook. It will take Zee some time to cut out and combine all of those images, if anyone can do such a thing in photo shop or any other tool such as Pixlr, you are welcome to do so and just post your characters cutout. |

In this competition 2 player teams need to kill a boss in the fastest possible time, time will be measured by a dead observer who will be one of the judges. Every week we will get to fight a new boss for this competition, first will be: Snarby Allowed:

Penalties from both players of the team will be added up so both players affect the overall time ( If 1 players uses 1 pill and the other players CE revives himself their time will be increased for 45seconds ) Participation in this competition will be 25 ce per team member so 50 ce for the whole team. Clockworks endurance competition
Levo's brainchild is here! Its a competition on which team can make it furthest in the clockworks using only 2 star equipment. This competition is taking place in the Diamond Queen gate ( Vanaduke gate ) and all teams must start from depth 8, Basile and towns along the way can be used as save spots, players can stop their run there and continue from there some other time.
- Party consists of 1 to 4 people.
- Party has to start from depth 8.
- CE revives are forbidden!
- Only 2 star weapons, armor sets and shields are allowed.
- Health trinkets are allowed but only 2 star ones and all other trinkets can be 5 star.
- Only 4 weapons allowed for the whole run and neither the shield or any armor piece is to be changed during the run, in case someone hasn't got all 4 weapon slots or both trinket slots unlocked, they are allowed to change weapons but the over all number of weapons used for the run has to be 4 and for trinkets 2.
- No costumes are allowed
- All UV's are allowed ( UV = Unique variant )
- Players are supposed to form their own teams and have one member apply them all
- Entry fee is 25 ce per team member, entry fee is to be mailed to Zeeca by the person who applies the team.
- Buying pills is not allowed for this event.
- All parties have to visit the arena on Depth 11 and complete the whole arena.
- 2 Screenshots needed - All parties have to have proof of completing the arena by making 1 screenshot at the end elevator and another screenshot at the very end of their run, weather its a party wipeout ( all party members dead ) or the party made it to the core.
Remember that not all 2 star items need to be bought with crowns, Snarbolax tokens can get you some items, so can the twins tokens, we all have some costume and mission items laying around so lets put them to good use. Good luck!

The hallow costumes are here! We are all collecting costume items and looking pretty so we thought it would be fun to have a little event where we show off our new costumes. The entry fee is 10ce per costume and you need to pay that to Zeeca when he takes the screenshot of your costume. The costumes don't have to be full Hallow, they can have parts of other costume sets or items in them. Event ends on hallowen.

This competitions collected CE was 120ce overall but with some generous donations we were able to extend the prize fond a little bit. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you all for applying, all of the costumes were absolutely beautiful and the differences in the points were very small, many costumes were 1 point or 0.3 points away and as you can see, we even have some of the winners sharing the reward for 3rd place. Costumes were rated from 1 - 100 by Zeeca, Zenewk, Jyudie and since Zeeca and Jyudie were contestants themselves their costumes were judged by Levofloxacin so they would get 3 people judge their costumes too since they were not allowed to judge their costumes of course.

Hai all the results for the compitition are as follows:

Original Judges were Shaarmallama, Aki and Sexyven (7), however 7 became unavailiable and emergency judge Yashi took his place. Once Yashi had finished judging we then had a problem! oh noes! all of teh 3 judges had entred the comp. Skruzo the orignal emergency judge was kidnapped by his friends so Zeeca teh 2nd emegency judge had to judge teh judges costumes, the marks that Zeeca gave made a fantabulous all round tie 3 guildies chipped in and added extra CE and prizes to the prize fond since there were so many people sharing rewards.

Attention all Exaltian's due to its popularity last time it is time for another epic round of banter and swaggery. Exalt with be holding a new costume competition so we can show off our swaggy new costumes, have a laugh and take a chance at winning the grand prize. The competition starts now and and there is plenty of time to come up with a costume before the competition ends. You can enter costumes looking as silly, scary or as pretty as you like.
The contest will be finishing on the 22nd of September at 8pm gmt and to enter see one of the officers or Gm's who will be more than happy to take your screenshot and entrance fee/s.

Exalt Costume Contest-closed
Yes! The first Exalt costume contest is here! We have all been looking so pretty we diceded to make a little costume contest so we can show off our ideas for a chance to win the grand prize but mostly for the fun of looking cute, silly, scary and just hanging out with the guild. The contest starts right now and everyone from the guild can participate, entry fee for the contest is 20ce per contestant. The contest winners beside winning the prizes will also get a chance to judge the judges! The contest won't last long so better get working on that costume right away knights.
Judging will be held on may the 5th at 9pm gmt in the haven garden, at that time join Akikita since she is the head judge and the banker for this event.
Judges will be in the contest too and they will also have a mini costume contest of their own that will be judged by the contest winners.
Judges will look at the costume in haven and on inspect to make sure they can catch the best sides of it, screenshots will be taken of all the costumes and then the judges will decide on the winners of the contest from those, the winners will be announced on the following day.
In case a knight can't make it on 5th of may he or she is to notify the judges so they can try and organize a small group of members at a different time from the main group. In case you have something come up on short notice still make sure to notify the judges, they might be able to help.
The contest entry fee ( 20 CE ) is to be sent to Akikita via the in game mail and then all the collected CE from contestants will go for some additional special prizes.

Aki xExalt proto challenge
From time to time Exalt will organize some games within the game, a competition or a challenge of some sort, the rules for those minigame's will be displayed here with the results and all the other information needed for that event. If you yourself have a suggestion for such a competition or a challenge or even something else, feel free to talk about it and post a suggestion on the Exalt forum. All the previous events will be saved on the wiki.
T1 arena competition
Rules:
- Any rank can participate in this event
- Each try costs 10 ce ( to be given to the referee when he joins the arena, you can try as many times as you want but each try costs 10ce )
- The competition will take place in the Venom fang arena - Beastly brawl in the copper queen gate, depth 2
- The competition lasts as long as the copper queen gate exists
- Armor, helm and shield have to be 0 star ( doesn't have to be proto as long as its 0 star )
- Sword and gun can be 1 star ( you can use any 2 weapons you want as long as they are 1 star )
- !!!<NEW RULE>!!! Not allowed to use expansion mission items for this contest ( prototype rocket hammer )
- Only 2 weapons allowed
- No trinkets allowed
- No pills allowed!!! ( you are not allowed to use pills, using a pill will add 1 minute to your time )
- Each revive costs you 1 minute extra
- All boxes must be broken ( the minerals don't have to be broken )
To participate contact any of the veterans or higher ranking members who are online, talk to them before starting your run and invite them in the arena, they will then kill themselves at the start and watch you solo while measuring time from the moment you stepped on the button to the moment you killed your last enemy.
Prizes:
- 1st place reward is 1000 ce
- 2nd place reward is 2/3 of the ce we get from the contestants and a surprise 3 star item
- 3rd place reward is 1/3 of the ce we get from the contestants and a surprise 3 star item
- 4th place reward is a weapon slot upgrade and a 2 star armor set
- 5th place reward is a weapon slot upgrade and a 2 star armor set
- 6th place reward is a 3 star surprise item
- 7th place reward is a 3 star surprise item
- 8th place reward is a 3 star surprise item
- 9th place reward is a trinket slot upgrade and a 1 star armor set
- 10th place reward is a trinket slot upgrade and a 1 star armor set
All veterans, officers and guild masters are referees for this event, Zeeca will be the banker for this event, all veterans are instructed to pass the ce they got from the contest to Zeeca directly when they see him online, mail it to him or pass it on to an officer or a guild master. A veteran must make sure to die right at the start of the arena, the ref must suicide using a fov or faust if he owns it if not he must wear proto and die in the place best suited for the contestant ( suggested spot is the upper part of the room right beside the gate), Referee needs to measure time from the moment the competitor steps on the button and stop measuring at the moment when the competitor has killed the last enemy. If the competitors time is within the top 10 the results must be mailed to Zeeca. Mail the result and the ce together in the same mail and in the head of the mail write the contestants name and overall time with penalties.
