While it wasn't a nightmare, I got a scare from this dream I had, that Echo Stone I got... it spoke to me again, I don't recall what it said this time though. As I was sleeping in the Guildhall, I could hear the voice again, I can't decipher whos it is though, is it Alpha Squad? That seems hardly pheasable, though I feel it may be the core itself. Reviewing my theory of Cradle, perhaps the Swarm and what is within the Core have been at war for many a milenia, and the core was a way to stop the war, only the swarm is more persistent to finish the fight? Or is what lies within the core very much the same as the Swarm? It is also thought that Tinkazar was actually the one to design the clockworks, perhaps there was no leader before him? Though I can't find myself to belive that the Gremlins are trying to stop the release of the Swarm, their behaviour seems that of hostile to eachother even, Warmaster Seerus was planning to eliminate the others of the Crimson Order, and I think he and Herex may have a rivalry, he thought we were assissins sent by Herex at first. Ugh, there's so much left to theory, I'm going to have to sit down and think about all this carefully at some point, when I'm not so shaken up and can think straight though.

The date is set, I will be returning to the Shadow Lair, once again acompanied by Aki, Skruzo and Hayashi. This time we return to the Ironclaw Munitions Factory, it seems the swarm has made its influence on this place too, spreading fire and napalm across it, even the Roarmulus Twins are supposedly back

I sometimes think back to Isora, my home back there... the knights I knew there, I wonder if they know we're still alive here on Cradle? But then seeing the good in all this, I remember that if not for the Skylark crash, the adventures here on Cradle, I'd not know many more knights, or Exalt for that matter, I bet I wouldn't be the knight I am today

I thought of something... back when I first went into the clockworks, that aretifact we surrendered to Razwok, we never found out what it was, I remember it so clearly all of a sudden, the way it seemed to respond to the environment, how it rearranged itself, as if it were unlocking something... it's a long shot but... was that... the key to the core?
 +
I remember Razwok said he "delivered the aretifact" but to who? Tinkazar? For some reason, I doubt he was with the great colony, he didn't bear the gremlins Emblem, and he was in a ground floor facility with no other gremlins to be found, it wouldn't make sense, unless he had different masters, did he serve the Swarm somehow? Whatever the motives, he was very scared we had taken whatever that was, it would make sense it was connected to the core.

That day, when I first came to Cradle, I remember it so well all of a sudden, I close my eyes and picture me in my rookie gear, proto sword and shield in hand, orange colour, Lord-Geken there with me, ready to take on the world, I open my eyes to see me now, a lot has changed, I'm taller now, and my colour lighter, guess it just shows all those rookies, even the begging ones, we all started out that way.

Once again I set foot in the tainted lands of the shadow lair, this time embarking through the Ironclaw factory, and... yeah, I always had a problem with fire and this place... I combusted a lot it seemed, even so, the team was particuarly loony on this day, even if I had a comms glitch and my voice wasn't properly broadcasting to the team, I need to remember to check my settings and functions properly before setting out on something as big as this. Either way, we faced an  upgraded version of the Roar Twins, spweing fire and flame as well as their regular rockets and lasers, though this proved to be simpler than reaching the things even. Nevet the less, we made it through, faced the void again and ended up in the sanctuary, another Echo Stone was there, I retrieved it for later proper analysis.

This confirms my theory from before, Tinkazar, if it even was him to made the clockworks, originally designed the core to protect whatever is in there from the swatrm, originally with good intentions, he has now turned against it and the clockworks have become a dangerous world out to get anyone who enters its paths.
 +
I also seem to be right about whatever's in the core fleeing the swarm, Tinkazar appeard to originally agree to protect it, making a "Pact" but apparently went mad and is now out to get it. This must also be the explanation to the Emberlight Gremlins and the outcasts, they are stull true to the pact of protecting the core.
 +
If this is right, then perhaps I was also right about the Core making us crash to come and save it, that part I don't know.
 +
What I do know is that there must be more of these Echo stones, so I will find them and piece together the rest of this story before I make my final theory. That core has a secret, and I WILL figure it out

The Spiral Uplink was updated by HQ today, messages and info displayed to us in a different way, it looks handy for the most part, but I find it hinders me somewhat in places, such as me finding it difficult to see my health condition, however, seems that monster research has payed off, they managed to integrate a health display system into the targeting control, I can see info about what I'm attacking now, that will surely come in handy, also an uplink from my shields barrier, I can see the health of it more clearly now, it would be handy to see how much damage its getting and exactly what enemies I need to generaly get out the way of as opposed to tank it.

While working to help Biscotti with her... situation, I returned to Haven to then be approached by Aki, she asked to talk in the guildhall.
 +
Once there, she started talking about how she was now the only GM left working in Exalt, and how she was considering what would happen to the guild in the future, she kept on leading on saying about how she needed people she would rely on, my mind was saying "Is she about to ask me what I think she's going to ask me?" and then she did

Aki hit me with the question "Do you want to join the Officers of Exalt?"
 +
It pretty much left my mind blank, but after a few minutes, I was on my Officers test, to take on the Gauntlett alone, it's always good to come out of one of those challenges successfully, and after that, and being donned an officer by Aki, I know I'm a Spiral Knight now.

Otherwise Known: Plumble, Appleplumble, Plumblepuff, Plumble in the Jungle
Guild: Exalt
Playstyle: Blitzer, Swordsman

Who is "Sir-Plumbledoor"?

Usually found working with Lord-Geken or his comerades in Exalt, Sir-Plumbledoor is a swordsman knight who isn't afraid to take on a challenge well beyond his depth just to see how he fares against it. Commonly found exploring clockworks through the arcade gates, he will work towards his goals.

Sir-Plumbledoors more favourite ways to go around the clockworks would be seeking out danger rooms and arenas, preffering to fight construct or slime enemies. When on an expedition with him, it becomes apparent he hates the Tier 3 Gremlin Menders, he claims to have been in an arena fight, stage three where the whole floor was covered in healing rings. He describes himself as a "Blitzer" where he means he often ends up attacking without thought and focuses on eliminating one enemy (Usually Menders) and gets himself in trouble. While this may be, he also usually resorts to having to Charge and swing with his Combuster. While this may sound like he is inexperienced, Sir-Plumbledoor can be a very reliable member of the team when he needs to be and will always focus on the objective and keeping his team alive.

The Story so far of Sir-Plumbledoor

He joined the Spiral Order on " " where he took to the rescue camp, there he met up with Lord-Geken where they first took on the Clockworks. Upon reaching haven, Sir-Plumbledoor quickly established himself as a knight within the order, favouring the swordsmaster style with the Calibur being his choice. As he progressed, he decided it would be good to invest in an elemental sword from the Brandish line, choosing the fire line, which has now become his favourite weapon, the Combuster, which he names "Buster"

Taking on the Snarbolax was simple enough, he first acomplished this mission alone where Lord-Geken then started to catch up with him in the rank missions and then took on the mission a second time, it was when they were assigned the Royal Jelly Palace they had trouble. While eventaully managing to defeat it, Sir-Plumbledoor is still not happy about only being offered three star inventory for such a dangerous fight, he finds it irritating how simple the Royal is now that he has Buster and Jenny, his Sentenza.

Reaching the rank of Champion, he slowed down in taking on the rank missions Spiral HQ offered him, liking the title, and also assisting Lord-Geken in rising in the ranks so that the team could take on the citadel together when he too was offered the mission. Most of his time at this stage was spent generally roaming through arcade gates, seeking out Arenas and Danger rooms, starting to build a small fortune in an attempt to build a place for himself among the more prestigious knights.

During his time spent more towards self progressment as a knight, Spiral HQ finished work on the guildhalls which got his attention, he considered if he had what it takes to be a Guildmaster, he visited the halls of his comerades, one in particular belonged to his friend "Captnight" who is a member of the guild "Exalt" Visiting here, he soon made himself well known amongst the rest of the knights of the guild who all took kindly to him. After a lot of thought with Lord-Geken, they cancelled plans to found a guild named "Orion" and joined Exalt.

As Lord-Geken rised in rank, he had been working on his arsenal, mainly in weapons to counteract his weaknesses, and armours he generally liked the look of (Of course to also fill gaps in his arsenal), including the Mercuial armour set, a Barborus Thorn Blade, a Sentenza and finishing his Skelly Suit. Sir-Plumbledoor also continued to build a crown total with the remainder of his Lift Pass in preparation for any other rare events that may happen, as well as anticipating Nonnas next visit, as to which he met her where his total hovered around 150,000 and needed some on hand for recipes and such. He also used this pass to try to find the recipes for his arsenal expansion, where they proved to be particuarly evasinve, constantly finding other limited stock not useful to him.

As time went on, Sir-Plumbledoor thought of Exalt as another family of friends, keen to assist in their projects as well as events they held, after some time Winterfest arrived where he took to the saving of the holiday with his guildmates, and of course Lord-Geken, quickly racking up tokens and purchasing several boxes and finding several prizes. With the release of the Hunters Lodge, the guild was quick to earn several trophies, the main one being the Snarbolax statue which sits proudly in the lobby of the hall. It was also around this time he decided he was going to prepare for a Shadow Lair mission, keen to take on the challenge the Clockworks could really offer him

Slime fight.jpg

After a few weeks, a team acompanied him to the Shadow Lair where they ventured through the poisoned Gloaming Wild Woods, this team was composed of one of his trusted Guildmasters Akikita, Officer Hayashi-Kuro, fellow Guild member Skurzo and himself, where they fought on against the poisoned WildWoods and eventually were attacked by the Swarm. They returned from the lair where Sir-Plumbledoor now had the Snarbolax coat and cap armour set.

After this Sir-Plumbledoor continued to build up his Arsenal and generally enjoyed his time on Cradle with Exalt and other good friends, finishnig the Gran Faust and Dragon Scale Shiled to fill the most noticable gaps, though he still works on new items to make use of crowns he earns.

It was soon time to return to the Shadow Lairs, this time taking on the Fire Munitions Factory and defeating the fire Roarmulus Twins. After a second trip to the sanctuary from this expedition, he now has the Heavenly Iron Armour and has revised his theory about Cradle based on information gained here.

Now more commonly to heat items he is working on, he takes on Prestige missions, reguarly the danger ones and favours Ghosts in the Machine.

It was then that he took part in the SK Anniversary involving a certain incident a knight named Biscotti claims never happened.

Exalt then began to show more interest in Blast Network, after some of the guild began to join Sir-Plumbledoor in matches, after having several eight player ones with only Exalt members, they decided to form a team, taking on their friend guild Impervious. A few matches with them got the attention of some other guilds more common to the Blast Network battlefield and soon enough Exalt were facing teams from Bombheads, Machinists and Foresters. They now regularly compete in GvG Blast Network. Sir-Plumbledoor himself also often goes into Free for all matches where he can be quite chaotic, if not a tad over destructive.

His next task is to again return to the Shadow lairs to take on that of the Ice Palace, as well as build up his prestige badge.
