About the Guild

Fabulous is a new guild founded on the desire to build a strong, active, and fun organization of T3 (and rising T3) players who enourage a friendly envrionment and help foster good times. Our founding and core members range from the teens to the twenties, a good mix of males and females, and are always looking for anybody from any age group who, like us, enjoy the comradery which comes with this game.
Fabulous prides its self on several aspects including
- We are a safe and secure guild in which respect and community are prioritized. Members are encouraged to socialize both about Spiral Knights as well as their personal interests.
- Even though the guild is not strict on language rules we DO NOT tolerate sexual harassment or discriminatory language. Our members come from a wide spectrum of race, age, and sex and we are very proud of this.
- Apart from harassment/discriminatory language we also DO NOT tolerate those who beg in /g or in the Haven. It just looks bad and annoys other players.
- Fabulous members are very encouraging and look for ways to consistantly help each other out.
- We pride ourselves on our ability to run the clockworks from 0-28 and the shadowlairs when we please. PVP and runs to T3 Basil are a common occurance as are casual and quick runs to teach Vana who is the boss.
- We will never require members to do anything which they do not wish. This game is fun, and harassing players to do things against their will removes the fun.
- Most importantly. You must be Fabulous to join this guild.
We don't take ourselves very seriously here in Fabulous, but we do recognize that it is important to have some moderate rules and encourage members to be active in their play and social actives. Those looking for a casual gaming experience or a heavily active one will be able to find their needs satisfied.
Fabulous respects that not all members are able to play all the time, and may not be able to make all of the events we (hopefully) will host. People have personal lives and interests which we understand come first.
Guild Members
Rankings:
- Our Ranks are based along participation and activity in the guild. Recruits are newer members who are still getting a feel of the guild. Members are solid knights who get along with others well and put forth a good display of skill in the game. Veterans are for those who have been around a long time, are well trusted and received, and are very active in their participation. Officers are the most Fabulous of them all.
- From Recruit -> Member : A recruit must show competence, knowledge, and experience in Spiral Knights; often through a FSC run with an officer. To become a member the recruit must also spend some time in the guild in order for us to get to know them better and to tests the recruits maturity and ability to fit into the community.
- From Member -> Veteran: Veterans in Fabulous are rare. A Veteran has not only displayed positive activity in the guild community for an extended period of time, but has also showed fluency in T3 content. A veteran must show maturity and respect for those around them and be somebody who truly exemplifies the Fabulous name. The final transition from Member to Veteran will be marked by a trial run with an officer and at least 1 other guild member in a Shadow Lair of the appointee's choice.
- Officer Positions are CLOSED.
- DO NOT ASK FOR A PROMOTION. This will not expedite your process in receiving one, but rather annoy the officers and make them think that you shouldn't get one.

If you have suggestions... Please let the Officers know because we want to hear it!
If you had a bad/unpleasant experience with another guild member...which may happen at times, please let Rysihad, or an Officer know. We have a diverse group of knights here in Fabulous and it would be a shame to see that diversity go away due to unwarranted sexism or racism. All reports will remain anonymous and will be quickly followed up with a discussion between an officer and the offending member. If this is a repeated offense than it is up to the officer's discretion as to whether or not the offending member may remain in Fabulous. We hope that this never occurs, but in the event that it does, remember to contact an Officer rather than be drawn into the fight/harassment/name-calling/etc... yourself.
Active/Activity: If you are planning to be inactive for a while - like a week or two, please let Rysihad or an officer know so we don't think you quit the game and mark you as inactive. If you are marked as inactive we will know that you do intend to come back after the time you've notified us for and will, therefore, not dismiss you from the guild under false-pretenses.Fabulous Lottery

The Fabulous Lottery is a unique event which anybody in the guild has access to! It is a weekly drawing held on Saturdays for a pool of money collected through ticket sales in the form of CR (or occasionally CE). Eighty-percent of the funds collected during the week are awarded to whoever's ticket is selected from a spreadsheet using a random selection equation. The remaining funds are kept in the Guild Bank to be used for future events and items which may benefit multiple members. We encourage everybody to play to make the pots that much more Fabulous, but it is purely optional to participate in the Lottery.
Entering The Lottery: To enter the lottery, simply mail Fabulous-Bank (or whoever is running the lottery that week) with the correct amount of funds. Funds and ticket limits may change from week to week.
Drawings Drawings utilize this function in excel spreadsheets to pick a fair and random name from a list: =INDEX($A:$A,RANDBETWEEN(1,COUNTA($A:$A)),1)

- Kyrider was the winner of our 2nd Fabulous Lottery Collecting a pot of 233,200 Crowns! Congratulations!
- Hypnotio was our winner! Collecting a pot of 180,000 CR! Congratulations!
- Snarbys-Knight and Dazwon were our two winners! Collecting a pot of 71,000 crowns each! Congratulations!
- Hatsune-Mikuu was our winner! Collecting a pot of 141,000 crowns!! Congratulations!
- Dazwon with a lucky 2nd snag was our winner! Collecting a pot of 110,000 crowns! Congratulations!
Mumble Server!

Joining the mumble server requires a few simple steps!
1.) Go to this link and download the CLIENT for your computer! http://www.mumble.com/mumble-download.php
2.) Install the Mumble client on your computer!
3.) Start up Mumble!
4.) Set up your options if you just want to listen you can skip most of this it's all pretty self explanatory. Make sure to bind yourself a push to talk key!
5.) Once all that's done you want to click on server and click on "Connect" this will bring up a second page you want to click "Add New" at the bottom of the screen and fill out the information that it asks for. Do not adjust the port settings as they are already set. You can name the room whatever you please. The server information is IP: 24.18.20.251 You don't need to change anything else and please use your Knights name for your user name. This helps me keep things organized!
6.) Message me on Spiral Knights for the password! I'm not going to put the password here because I don't want people joining that shouldn't be joining.
7.) TALK! That's all there is to it if you have any questions please ask me also let me know when you get on so I can register you and sort you into the proper group!
RULES.
YOU NEED TO SET IT UP FOR PUSH TO TALK. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SETTING.
1.) Getting caught handing out the password to non-members will get you swiftly banned. Please talk to one of the officers if you want someone outside of the guild to be allowed to the Mumble Server.
2.) I will not tolerate people being disrespectful on the Mumble server. If you get banned from the Mumble server that does not mean you're going to be removed from the guild but expect it to be a significant ding on your record.
3.) No spamming or playing loud sound effects please! It's going to be hard enough with everyone talking to hear what's going on.
4.) Most importantly be Fabulous! I worked hard to get this server set up for everyone to use and it'll be running 24/7 as long as I can run it so please don't abuse the right! Thank you!Fabulous Photo Album
