About Us

We're an active [usually 12~18 members online], strong and playful guild currently recruiting skilled T3 lockdown players to join us in battle. First Blood is a PvP focused guild that is focused on having fun in a friendly and mature environment. Members log on, meet up with guildmates, and enjoy the exciting and strategic nature of PvP, be it in RLD or GvG.

We also have a Guild Promotional Video! Go check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlwbTwG8-BE

By the way, this guild is not recommended if you're a sensitive/gullible/crybaby type of person! [Seriously. Fodow, Blazingwarrior and Danzepickle will make you cry if you're one of those types of people listed above.

About Us

We're an active, strong and playful guild currently recruiting skilled T3 lockdown players to join us in battle. First Blood is a PvP focused guild that is focused on having fun in a friendly and mature environment. Members log on, meet up with guildmates, and enjoy the exciting and strategic nature of PvP, be it in RLD or GvG. Something unique about us is that we are an auto aim free guild.

News

Right now we've got lots of good swordsmen, so we'll be on the look out for good gunners and bombers.

We've recently reached 90 members, but sweeped inactives and players who did not meet requirements, getting us back down to 75 members.

1v1 Tournament Info

Due to lack of cooperation from First Blood guild members, this feature has been shut down until further notice. [Thanks a lot guys ._.]

In-House Clan Wars

This is a fun event to replace 1v1 tournament. We frequently have about 15 on, so we figured we'd make use of that. Every month each officer or guild master will be a team leader, selecting 5 guildies to be on their clan for Clan Wars. Guild Masters and officers will talk with their clan members to select a name for their group. When two groups are online, we will do in-house GvG (online guildies will be spectating if they are not in one of the 2 clans).

Each win will count for 3 points, each loss counting for 1. In the end, the prize will be decided by GMs and officers.

(Sore losers or winners will be disqualified ;D)

Ranking

Guildies who are seen constantly asking for promotions will either be demoted, or kicked from the guild, depending on the situation. We will have little tolerance for this behaviour. The ranking will be simple. If you'd like to be promoted, ask a guild master or officer to test you for promotion.

Ranking Requirements (Each capture counting as 500 dmg)

Swordies

Member = 3 days as a recruit in FB

Veteran = 25k damage

Gunners

Member = 3 days as a recruit in FB

Veteran = 16k damage

Bombers

Member = 3 days as a recruit in FB

Veteran = frequently getting your team 8 or more captures, with an excellent technique

Officer = When you get nominated by a fellow member/vet, the GMs will have a council about it and decide whether you pass or not.

Guild Master = When one of the four guild masters steps down, the remaining 3 will have a vote on what officer will become a GM.

Guild Rules

1. Be intelligent -- ask questions to gain understanding; better to ask and learn than to not ask and never know.

2. Be mature -- act in a respectful and civil manner, towards guild mates and towards others.

3. Look forward -- do not despair over a loss; instead, focus on analyzing it to better understand and improve your gameplay. Remember, always say "good game."

4. Lift others up -- encourage and motivate your guild mates -- do not assign blame for losses and liberally share credit for victories. Do not criticize, instead offer suggestions as to how to improve.

5. Communicate -- If you have an idea for a strategy, say it. Don't assume others know something if you have never told them. Make sure everyone is on the same page before attempting a strategy. Be creative in strategizing and disciplined in execution.

6. Be friendly -- Be a nice person. Be helpful. Offer advice and support to your fellow guildmates. Help each other out.

7. Have fun -- Enjoy yourself. If you're playing a game, you should be having fun. This is not a job, this is a game. This is not saying that you should goof off while everyone else is focused on winning the battle; rather, it is to say that you should be having fun being focused on winning the battle.

Depending on how well your use your 1st swing technique, we will also make exceptions for those who currently have 4* gear but a trial game in lockdown tested our GMs or officers will still be necessary.

Simple. No spamming in guild chat, whether it's to sell, buy, TROLL, etc. An officer or guild master will tell you to stop, and if you refuse, you will be either demoted or kicked.

Lockdown Rules

No, we're not going to kick you for having a bad game XD.

1. OBEY ORDERS -- Be attentive to your chat box, because as soon as the game starts, an officer or GM leading the team will be shouting out orders, and as a guild member it is your duty to obey them. If you're told to go to say "point 2," do not stop on the way to fight - go straight to your destination and defend it.

2. CAPTURE -- Here in First Blood, we have little tolerance for "damage hogs." Unless you've been ordered to base camp, you should be capturing along with your other guild members. when you see an opponent on the way to your destination, just try to dodge and avoid them, a guild member who's been assigned to another capture point will take care of them.

3. TAKE NOTES -- Know that we're not the strongest guild around, but we learn from our mistakes. When beaten by a guild, take into account what techniques your opponents use and work up a way to counter it. For example : If your opponent has shock resistance against your VT, switch bombs. If your opponent uses combos, dodge their combo and hit once, repeat.

4. SPORTSMANSHIP -- No matter how mad you are, how annoyed you are, be it from opponent spam or your teammates not doing well, always say good game. Do not waste your time spitting insults at your opponent, but instead take the time to think "How can I help my team do better next time?"

5. NO AUTO-AIM -- If you're using AA in random LD it's fine, but when you play guild lockdown, you represent First Blood. There will be no use of auto aim in guild lockdown. You will get 1 warning if you're seen using AA in GvG by an officer/GM, if you continue to ignore warnings we will have to demote or expel you depending on the situation :/

Guild Roster

Recruitment

To get into the guild, you must contact one of our officers or guild masters and ask to be tested. If you can't find them online, just send mail with an application and we'll respond to test you whenever we can.

For swordies,

the requirement to make it in as a recruit is to get 15k damage. Each capture will be counted as 1000 dmg for those "cappers," as we are looking for players who know how to play well as a team, not those just going and killing.

For bombers,

we'll test you on caps - you must achieve 4+ caps for 3 games in a row.

For gunners,

we'll test you depending on your style. If you're the kind to lure opponents away from capture points, we'll follow you and see how good your technique is. If you're the kind to kill, we'll you on damage - you must get atleast an average of about 10k [Again cap = 1000 dmg ea]

Application

1. What * gear are you?

2. What type of player are you [Gunner/Swordie/Bomber - Striker/Recon/Guard]

3. Do you currently use auto aim?

4. What was your previous guild?

5. What is your IGN?

6. Why do you want to join First Blood?

7. What makes you a special applicant [if you are one]?

8. Are you fun/playful/talkative?

9. Can you take a joke? [i.e somebody *cough* Blazingwarrior, says you're an idiot when you forget to play again]

10. What is the super secret password that Fodow's hidden in a super secret place that nobody would ever think of looking?

Ranking
