About Gambit
Gambit was founded by a lonely web designer. He’s the same guy who came up with the corny mission statement down below that albeit cringe-worthy, is something that we believe in strongly. He’s since moved onto other games, but pops up unexpectedly and without invitation from time to time, hurling insults and sleazing up to the new recruits. Do we mind it? Uh, do we have a choice?
Since then, we’ve all grown a bit closer, become a little fatter, maybe somewhat hairier. We’re all already on very friendly terms, so don’t be shocked if we’re a little bit crude or seem a little mean to each other. It’s all in jest. After all, what are friends for if not to flame you for being killed by a T1 chromalisk?
Our mission
Fun in the first place, theorycrafting and all that stuff, after that. Gambit’s goal is to unite the players, that love to communicate and interact with each other, otherwise this game wouldn’t be fun at all right? :) Let’s face it, .. how many players are there, just roaming around the clockworks in a totally strange group, basically on their own, no one’s talking and everyone is just focused on gaining their heat. We would like to change that!
Ranking
We don’t put anyone on pedestals, the guild masters are only really guild masters because they have different skill sets to offer the guild; for spiral fashionista advice see Flyingasgardian, for tomfoolery see Canine-Vladmir or for Vanaduke ownage ask Senorclean to go along with you. As for the officers, they're just generally awesome people. Ranks aren’t of the utmost importance here, and you’ll only stay a recruit as an indication that you are new. On request, we’ll move you up to member, and in time, you’ll be a veteran. Stick around long enough and some trippy form of symbiosis will settle in. You'll see.
Rules & Requirements
It would be nice if the applicants are active and foremost, friendly. We also have some other requirements:
- No begging - downright rude and totally uncouth
- T2 gear at the very minimum (preferably a mix of 3* and 4* as opposed to straight 2* gear) - most of us have T3 access already but we are happy to help you get there too.
- A level of activity - how else will we get to know you?
- A sense of humour - it ain't Sesame Street all the time over in guildchat so please keep that in mind if you are quite young and applying.
- Basic english - Gambit is a pure english-speaking guild (and very social), so this is pretty much required.
- Pipe!- All Gambit Guild Masters must have a pipe. :D
