Lionheart (Guild)
From SpiralKnights
Lionheart was started and built by Mayaura as a guild that welcomes both long-time players and newer members.
Our guild is a unique mentoring guild. This means that our goal is for our guild to be a place where you can grow both in your skills as player and in your ability to contribute to the greater good of the Spiral Knights community. Our Guild Master and Officers will be happy to mentor you toward these goals if you desire it.
If you are interested in joining the Lionheart guild, please send an in-game mail to one of our Officers or Guild Master with the words "I would like to join your guild". Applicants will receive a response within a few days. Or drop by our Guild Hall and ask to speak with the Guild Master or an Officer.
We look forward to getting to know you and enjoying this wonderful game together.

Guildlines:
In order for our guild to be a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, we ask you to follow a few guidelines for playing and interacting.
1. Please avoid using foul or sexually explicit language. While an occasional swear word used in jest or mock anger may slip in, please remember that we have players from age 13 and above from many cultures, so please keep public posts free from offensive language or images.
2. Show respect at all times, especially toward Officers and the Guild Master. When you disagree with someone or a player does or says something you don’t like, try to work it out privately. DO NOT post personal attacks or anything intended to insult another player. Humility and empathy should be shown in your attempts to resolve any conflicts.
3. “Neither a beggar nor a borrower be” to paraphrase Shakespeare. Please do not ask ("beg") for things from other guild members such as crowns, energy or anything else of value. You can, however, politely (not demandingly) ask for help with a mission. The Guild Master and Officers would be happy to carry along one or two less-abled players.
4. Remain active. As Lionheart is a very active guild, we tend to remove inactive players whenever the population maximum is reached.
Ranks and Promotions:
Advancement in the guild depends on your competency and attitude as a player. Other things we look at are: 1) time spent in the guild, 2) maturity in words and behavior, 3) contributions to both the guild and Spiral Knights community, 4) reputation as a player, 5) quality of your gear, 6) ability to successfully complete various missions.
Recruit – You will be a recruit for your first week while we get to know one another.
Member – After 1 week in the guild, you will be promoted to Member.
Veteran – Players will become Veteran rank after they’ve been in the guild a month, if they’ve shown by their kindness, helpfulness and/or donations that they wish to do what they can to make both the Lionheart guild and the game in general more fun for everyone.
Officer - Veterans who have been in the guild for a minimum of 3 months and have demonstrated exceptional qualities and maturity will be eligible for promotion to Officer. A GM will approach you about possibly becoming an officer, so please refrain from asking to become one. You will be someone that we have come to trust, which takes times. Promotions to Officer rank will occur infrequently, (about 1/10 veterans), so please don't "expect" to become an officer nor be too disappointed or feel slighted if you are not promoted to this position.
With promotion to Officer comes a few new powers and responsibilities. You can now use officer chat (/o) and you will have the power to invite players into the guild at your discretion. Although you will also have the power to remove players from our guild, that is an action that only Guild Masters will perform, and only when absolutely necessary. No one will ever be casually removed from the guild. Officers are expected to donate 10,000 crown per month to the GH.
Officers are an integral part of managing the guild's daily activities as you work with the other leaders of the guild to carry out the vision of the guild. You will be able to offer suggestions and give input more directly and readily. You will be expected to be a role model and mentor for other members.
Guild Master – There are currently no plans to add to this rank. GMs are expected to donate 20,000/month to the GH.
Guild Hall Usage:
Interior Decorating: Furnishing for the guild may be purchased by any Officer once the required crowns and materials have been deposited into the Guild Treasury. Veterans are not allowed into Design Mode without the permission and/or supervision of the Guild Master or an Officer.
Guests: Our Guild Hall is generally open to the public. Remember, your words and actions are representative of our guild, so please be polite to visitors. If someone is causing problems, please send an in-game mail to a Guild Master detailing the issues.
Guild Storage: Materials in storage are for crafting purposes only. Any player who removes materials or gear for the purpose of reselling them for personal profit will be demoted, or if several guild log pages of materials have been withdrawn, the player will be removed from the guild.
Wells: These look much prettier when they are glowing blue with mist in them, and we want to keep them that way at all times. Any Officer who obviously abuses the mist well will be demoted to member and banned from further usage.
Guild Treasury: Although members are not required to pay any upkeep, we encourage and appreciate your donations and rely on them for the continual upkeep and improvements to our Guild Hall. Veterans, Officers and Guild Master are required to make monthly donations.
Personal Rooms: If you would like to have a room with your name on it in the guild hall, you can do this by sharing the cost of the upkeep. We are currently requiring an annual deposit of 100,000 crowns per month for the privilege of naming a room with up to 3 other players. You may use whatever furnishings are available in storage or buy more.
Our Pledge of Allegiance:
1) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will serve fairly in this guild and make the right choices to the best of their knowledge and ability.
2) We pledge that Veterans and Members will show proper respect to the Officers and Guild Master and that higher ranking members will treat subordinates with care and not belittle them so that they leave the guild in the future.
3) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will provide feedback, both positive or negative, to help you develop and grow as a member of the guild.
4) We pledge that you will advance in the guild based on our rank promotion descriptions as laid out in our website and wiki site without favoritism.
5) We pledge that this guild will be friendly and helpful within reason, providing guidance and assistance as we are able.
