Guild Overview
Makuta was started for Bionicle (and Spiral Knights) fans to get together and have fun.
It's not necessary to know a lot (or anything) about Bionicle before you join, but it certainly helps.
We just want to have a nice (and also active) community.
We will possibly start doing guild runs and contests when we get more members.
We have an official guild email: makutaguild@gmail.com If you have an issue, this is a good way to get in contact with a GM.
We offer rooms for rent, at 1000 crowns a week.
History
Mid 2014 (Founding)
- Guild was Founded by Equos, with the help of Goroklark.
Late 2014 (The Dark Ages Begin)
- Several of the founder friends join.
- Guild is at 3 members.
Early 2015 (The Dark Ages)
- Nothing eventful happens. Some members come and go. Guild is at approximately 3 members throughout.
- The guild very often goes into default.
Mid 2015 (Late Dark Ages)
- A new recruitment campaign begins, which drastically increases membership.
- Membership rises to ~100
- Goatlet and Hopplet are made officers, cause they're super nice.
Late 2015
- Goatlet and Hopplet leave. Both are memorialized.
Early 2016
Rules (WIP)
Remember! GM's may be sneaking around on alts, waiting to catch rule breakers!
1. No racism. We treat all races equally.
2. No scamming. It's just not nice. And remember, OOO has a zero-tolerance policy on scamming.
3. Respect other members. Goes without saying, right? Especially if it's an Officer.
4. No spamming. It's unbelievably annoying, and we don't want it!
5. No begging. If you have the time to ask, you have the time to get it yourself.
6. No harassment. Don't spam party invites, or anything else!
7. Keep swearing to a minimum. Not really banned, just... keep it to a minimum.
8. If you are going to be inactive for a time, tell someone so that we don't kick you.
Recruitment and Promotions
If you wish to join, contact one of our GMs or Officers. Or maybe they'll contact you.
- Do not constantly ask if you can have a promotion. That's not going to help you.
- If you are inactive for a very long time, you run the risk of being demoted or removed from the guild.
- These requirements are subject to change, however this is unlikely.
Recruitment Status: Open
- You must be active at least once a week.
- That is all. Admission is free.
- You must have made at least one donation of at least 1000 crowns.
- You must be moderately active.
- You must have attained the previous rank.
- You must be regularly active.
- You must have made periodic donations prior.
- You must have a 4* set of items.
- This rank is reserved for more experienced members, who have been around long enough to know most of the game.
- You must have attained the previous rank.
- You must be very active.
- You must have a 5* set of items.
- You muast be a long-time veteran.
- Most members are very unlikely to ever achieve this rank.
- This rank will only be given if another GM leaves and the position is empty.
- Other GM's will deliberate and handpick who they believe is the best candidate.
- You must be a long-time veteran. You must be willing to take the responsibility of leading an entire guild. You must be able to pass judgement fairly on any issues that arise.
Special Jobs
Special jobs a roles given to specific members because they have a certain skill that we find useful.
Recruiter: The job of the recruiter is simple; to get as many people to join the guild as possible. No real skills are required for this one.
Wiki Editor: This job requires that you keep the guild wiki page as up-to-date as possible. This job is easier for those who have experience in wiki editing and general wiki coding.
Banker: This job requires management of the treasury, and of loans to other members. No skill required, just a lot of crowns.
About Each Rank (WIP)
IMPORTANT: Until further notice, GM Equos has full executive power.
This is a little bit about what you can expect from a member of a certain rank.
Recruits
- Recruits have no responsibilities, however, they are not yet considered full members.
- This is not an excuse to look down on and harass them!
Members
- Members have no responsibilities, except to donate help to pay for upkeep and upgrades.
- They make up most of the guild.
Veterans
- Veterans watch over the lower ranks, and keep them in line.
- They can start guild runs and other events.
- They are reliable in combat, and trustworthy.
Officers
- An Officer's primary job is to recruit new members for the guild.
- Officers watch over the lower ranks, and keep them in line.
- These guys should set an example for other guild members to follow. They are helpful, respectful, etc.

Demotions and Getting kicked out
If you break guild rules, you run the risk of being demoted.
Being kicked out means that you have broken guild rules multiple times.
If you feel that you have been demoted of kicked unfairly, contact a Guild Master, and they will help you sort it out.
Weekly Events
- Upkeep is currently paid on Fridays, and sits at 12,000 crowns.
