About S.T.P. (Squid Tea Party)

Squid Tea Party is an all Tier guild, comprised of knights of all ranks. It focuses mainly providing newer players with access to the information, and help that higher rank Knights can provide. This makes it a great place for beginners to learn and develop. Its other focus is on building relationships and providing a fun and friendly experience when you log onto Spiral Knights. Due to the mix of both old and new players you can always find someone on your level to play with. whether you're looking for someone to help you beat the snarbolax, or someone to venture into a shadow lair with you, you will always have options.

History of S.T.P.

The guild master, Ibby-MAn. Guild hopped from guild to guild for about 2 years, after his introductory guild, Tier 0, Disbanded. In all the guilds he never did feel like it was the right place for him. When asked later why he made S.T.P. his answer was this “Most all the guilds I've been part of were nice, but they felt to serious for me. To all about the bigger and better. I wanted a place that focused more on the people than how many shinies they have in their vault” He gathered up a small group of people who agreed that they wanted a guild like what he envisioned. Then in early may 2015 Squid Tea Party, was born. The name is seemingly derived from some private joke between Ibby, and one of his leading officers, Parzivel, that dates back to their days in Tier 0.

Features of S.T.P.

• A Friendly environment for both new and old Knights to come together in collaboration.
• A Monthly Raffle with prizes and entry fees based on Tier. Fees are paid into the guild treasury to promote guild growth and donations. A close eye is kept on the Guild record and a careful log is kept of the donations.
• Daily Gate runs in all Tiers as well as plenty of boss raids, as well as lots of players to invite along with you from any Tier.
• Easygoing, Carefree atmosphere with light rules and friendly members.
• A Guild hall with plenty of conveniences available to anyone in the guild. We are constantly trying to expand and grow to provide you with even more.
• No Mandatory Donations or guild fees. We wont make you pay us, The raffle is in place to hopfully provide you with the incentive you need to do so on your own. If your unable to no one will hold it against you
• An easy to understand rank system. The more we see you the faster you move up in the chain… not that ranks mean a darn thing in S.T.P.

Guild Rules

• Don't be rude. Treat others with respect regardless of rank or Tier.
• If you have a personal issue with a fellow member, don't discuss it in the Guild chat. If necessary bring your issue to an Officer, who will deal with it as non partially as possible
• Do not hold your rank over someone else. Ranks in S.T.P. are nothing more that a topic of familiarity(excluding Officer and Guild Master) all events, features, and privileges are available to all ranks in the guild.
• Speak up! We want to hear your ideas, and questions. If you have an Idea that may help the guild or a question about how we do things, dont hesitate to send any of the guild head a Private message about the subject. A Guild is nothing without its members so help us help you.
• Octopi are Heathens.

How to Join

The recruitment process is as easy as sending a Private message or mail to any of the officers or guild master. Just ask to join, and so long as we have the room we will respond with an invite ASAP. In the future as the guild becomes larger and fills up, this may change, but we will always try to give everyone who wants in the opportunity to join us.

A Note from the Founder

Hey there! Thanks for reading through the information on our Guild. I really hope that it sounds like the kinda place you want to be. We have great people, and awesome officers who are constantly looking for ways to improve the feel of our guild. Personally I don't do as much as I would like, Im one man, I have a goal, but as far as how to reach that goal… well thats where I need help. I need members and Officers who can give me the insight and support to make my vision become reality. Despite its faults and shortcomings I have loved Spiral Knights ever since I was introduced to it in 2012. Its a game dear to my heart and I want to enjoy every minute I spend online. Best way I can do that is to make a place that feels as happy and easygoing as I like to consider myself to be. So if it seems like a good place to you, dont wait, send us your request now.
