I oppose the decision to delete this page.

While guilds usually exist as individual units, some guilds have a long linage of inheritance. History does not go away when a guild went defunct, but they should be left intact for historical lessons. This way subsequent GMs of descendant guilds could learn from these lessons and improve on them.
