Shankle do (probably) drop items. I recently killed a dark one, which dropped a heart. --TimBNL 15:58, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

I've also had them drop hearts corresponding with the Tier you find them in. They also drop vitapods; had a 4hp vitapod drop in a T2 Area (don't remember which depth). Both seem to be relatively uncommon though. Also, hearts and Vitapods aren't technically considered "drops" (look at other monster family pages) so it's probably better to add a note in the description, which I'll do now. Golden Shankles

I may have come across some of the shankles without screenshot...but the thing is it is very hard to tell the difference between them! Anyone have any tips distinguishing them? I mean you see dark shankles spawn in a beast area in clock works...so it's very confusing. Marona 02:15, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
