Tortodrone is a type of monster no longer found in the Clockworks and is presumed extinct.
Traits
The Tortodrone is a massive, bipedal, robotic tortoise. Most frequently, they're encountered slowly patrolling corridors in the Clockworks. Nobody knows what they're searching for or guarding against, because they will completely ignore Knights and monsters alike, unless provoked. Similarly, nobody knows their origin. They weren't created by the Gremlins, and the Strangers only offer vague theories of a mysterious ancient civilization.

Don't fight him alone! His Charging Rush is unavoidable but blockable, but he will chain rush and easily break your shield. Without anybody else to distract him, you're up for plenty of hurting. His Rock Missile attack will also shower the room with projectiles, which remain lodged into the ground and inflict damage and possible shock on players who are unfortunate enough to walk over them.
Trivia
- According to the developers, the Tortodrone will return in a future update. It is unknown what changes will be made, but some believe that he will have a new appearance.
