Vog is a poorly understood fire deity. Early preview versions of Spiral Knights featured wolvers called Vog cubs. They can no longer be found in the game, but the Vog Cub Coat and Vog Cub Cap armors still bear their name. Designer Nick Popovich has stated that Vog itself is not a wolver.
Nick has also confirmed that Vog is named after the volcanic fog phenomenon vog.
