+ | ::I agree, it looks a bit awkward on some pages. I think it partially has to do with the TOC of each page also sharing space at the top. I thought it would be handy to have the template at the top of the page, so players could see the weaknesses easily when viewing a monster's page. Not bad on pages with long "Traits" sections ([[Gremlin]]), though. Perhaps the ___ Family text's size could be decreased and the icon resized to something smaller to save space. I'll update the family pages later tonight. [[User:Maget|Maget]] 05:37, 11 April 2011 (UTC) |

New template
Credit for the layout and concept goes to Levonis. Made this for use in monster pages, but I'm not sure if it squishes the top section of monster pages. Feel free to adjust its location on the monster pages or the margin size. The images used are the same as the Gate Icons.
Skaf mentioned here how the various family pages are outdated and redundant, and he's right. So, we either need to update those old pages, or simply redirect them to the Category pages instead. Opinions? Maget 11:43, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Yep, they are. I can't think of any good information we could put on them that would not be basically the same as just a copy of the monster grouping pages. Here's what I suggest doing:
- Switch the family pages to redirects to the correct #anchor on monster.
- Edit monster to remove linking in the headers (generally a wiki no-no to have them in headers anyhow) and put the sentence or so description that was on the family page under the appropriate family header on the monster page (removing the bolding).
- Update the pages that had linked to the family name to use the monster#anchor link instead.
- I also stopped by here to say that I love the idea of this template, but it could use some clarity and something to help with what it's doing to the flow of pages. I'll look into it hopefully this week unless someone figures something out before I have the time.. --Equinox 15:52, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
