Whoever said he made cameo appearances, that's not how you use the term. A cameo appearance is when something from a different series or episode can be seen for the sake of continuity or shout-outs. The Snarbolax represents the whole place and his appearances were lampshaded in the mission briefing, so it's much more of something to expect than a referencial surprise.

The Snarbolax has a lot of references to "Jabberwocky" (a poem from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass"), such as the defeat-the-snarby achievement being named "'O frabjous day!'", the tokens called "'Frumious' Fangs", and the Snarbolax fitting the description of the Jabberwock ("It lives in a "tulgey wood", it has "eyes of flame'", "jaws that bite".)

Strategy

I've battled him three times now, and im sure he doesn't collapse when stunned. he just acts like an alpha wolver-dodging, 3-bite combos, blahblahblah, so should i correct it?-xPlad

On the contrary, I used to grind snarby (like a nub) and it doesn't seem to dodge anything and I've seen it bite somewhere around five times in a row.-Explosive1

Wallpaper

Perhaps should the Snarbolax's image be the one depicted in the desktop background?--XTUX345 02:15, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Nope, the wiki is for documenting the game, not the media section of the website. Players coming to this page want to see what they would see in the game. --Equinox 03:13, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
I see. Oh, and when I play later on, perhaps I'll try and capture a higher-resolution picture of him. Would that be OK?

3 Frumious Fangs

I've battled him 6 times (I think) now, and each time he's dropped 3 Frumious Fang tokens: no more, no less. Can anybody confirm that this is always the case? --Fruito 05:28, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

I've battled him 3 times, and I've gotten 3 two of the times, but I definitely got 4 on my most recent kill. I have not seen any number of Frumious Fang tokens besides 3 or 4, though. Clyceer 21:05, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Hmmmmm. Well, got him four more times now, have earned exactly 3 tokens each time. --Fruito 18:29, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

To Note

Whoever said he made cameo appearances, that's not how you use the term. A cameo appearance is when something from a different series or episode can be seen for the sake of continuity or shout-outs. The Snarbolax represents the whole place and his appearances were lampshaded in the mission briefing, so it's much more of something to expect than a referencial surprise.

Jabberwocky

The Snarbolax has a lot of references to "Jabberwocky" (a poem from Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass"), such as the defeat-the-snarby achievement being named "'O frabjous day!'", the tokens called "'Frumious' Fangs", and the Snarbolax fitting the description of the Jabberwock ("It lives in a "tulgey wood", it has "eyes of flame'", "jaws that bite".)

I added this to the trivia with references. Hydraxan14 00:17, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
