Uploading images bug
Hi, just wanted to inform you about why reuploading the tier 1 Alpha Wolver "didn't work". As said on the upload page: "There are currently issues with uploading new versions of images already on the wiki. (The issue is being looked into. Please do NOT reupload or revert it several times as it will not help."
The bug means the image will take a while to change. The image you uploaded will be showed instead of the old version eventually. ~Katmint 00:18, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
Monster images
Just FYI, the monster images just need to be square and a minimum of 128x128 pixels. So if something like a wolver has a long tail, you can just crop the image as a larger square to contain the whole tail. --Equinox 19:28, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
- What method are you using to save monster images? Some of your more recent ones are very fuzzy and look like they have been saved as JPG images first. --Equinox 15:35, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- I save a screenshot on Steam first, upload it, and then copy the uploaded image to photoimpact, where i crop out the monster, resize it and change it to png. Is there a better way of doing it? --Conanwong
- Since the screenshot saving functions in the game use lossy image format that creates fuzzies & other image artifacts, I don't use that function. Resizing an image larger when it's a jpg will just make the fuzzy areas even fuzzier. I just use the "Print Screen" button that copies the screen and then use paste into my image editor. I crop, but do not resize. Then I save directly into PNG. --Equinox 23:23, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, i'll try that method out next time. Conanwong
Image uploading summaries
Image uploading summaries are not an appropriate place to leave notes for other users. If you need to tell Saphy something or discuss something with her, leave the message on her user talk page, not an uploading summary. --Equinox 22:10, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
