In the lore of Spiral Knights, Vog is some kind of fire deity. Little is known about it. Designer Nick Popovich has confirmed that Vog is named after the vog (volcanic fog) phenomenon.
Early preview versions of Spiral Knights featured wolvers called Vog cubs. They can no longer be found in the game, but Vog Cub Coat and Vog Cub Cap still bear their name. Nick Popovich has stated that Vog itself is not a wolver.
