This is the official wiki page for the Spiral Knights guild Order of Venus. Order of Venus is a guild on Spiral Knights, which was founded by Rhipdclxvi. It mainly consists of tier 2-3 players who concentrate on Firestorm Citadel and Lockdown.

Promotions
Because individual effort and achievement are never taken for granted in our community, Ranks in our guild are EARNED and NOT GIVEN easily. Rank is a reflection of a member’s loyalty, trustworthiness, and overall contribution to the guild. Anyone wishing to be promoted must be able to show through actions (not words) why she/he deserves the next Rank. They are evaluated by peers and the Guild Master based on a combination of factors: A.M.I.C.A.
• Activeness : How often a member plays, participates in guild events, and go on runs with fellow guild members. How we define "Active" in terms of minimum play-time: at least 12 hours spread over the course of at least 3 days per week.
• Maturity : This is a mature guild. And although we do not have a specific age limit, players who ACT like children are NOT tolerated. We should not have to explain to you what constitutes childish behavior, but rule of thumb is that if what you say or do annoys people (other than by owning them), then chances are you’re acting like a kid. We will not babysit those with the mentality of an 8 year old, and will gladly usher them to another like-minded guild.
• Improvement : Whether in Skill or Gear, everyone is highly encouraged to get better. The progress they make in upgrading their gear, and the personal effort they put into becoming a better overall player is just as important as helping others get better. The individual makes up the community, and as such, bettering oneself benefits the community as a whole.
• Contribution : How often a member helps our community in their own way. This could mean giving helpful tips and advice to less-experienced players, helping guild mates get the right gear or recipes, submitting thoughtful posts in the guild forums, or perhaps suggesting wonderful ideas to make the guild more enjoyable.
• Achievement : What a member has done or continues to do to stand out from the crowd. Whether from easily soloing Vanaduke with no deaths or from consistently doing well in Lockdown matches, the things a member does that make others go “WOW” won’t be ignored.

Trivia Contest!
There will be a Trivia contest held by guild Officer "Saphires" in the guildhall this Friday at 3:00 pm Australian Eastern Time. Dont know what time would that be in your local time? No prob, use this website to help you figure it out: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Rules: 1. No cheating (i.e. going to the wiki, asking others etc) 2. Tell "Saphires" your answers, if you are not told to continue you are out. 3. Please be patient, it will take time to sort out the answers. 4. There will be 10 questions. Those who answer all 10 correctly will go in a draw and the winners will be announced. 5. Prizes will be in CE and are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place based on how much questions are answered correctly. 6. Have fun and perhaps learn a new thing or two about the ins and outs of the game. 7. The First Offical Order of Venus Speed Run. Will be a test against the clock. This challenge will be to go from depth 0 to depth 8 and report back to me as fast as you can with a message. This is run on honesty so please dont cheat. The run will take place through the Snarbolax Boss gate. It is completed by one person a solo party. Prizes: 1st place: Divine Veil recipe to do with as you please (worth around 30-35k crs). 2nd Place: 250 CE 3rd Place: 150 CE And finally if you participate in this event you automatically receive 50ce. The Event: Solo Race from Moorcraft Manor (Depth to Emberlight (Depth 18) though Jelly King gate! When: Friday Nov 18 or Saturday Nov 19. At least 6 participants are required to enter for this event to take place. Prizes: 1st place = 350 ce 2nd place= 300 ce 3rd place = 250 ce There will be consolation prizes for participating if you do not win too Rules: 1. Must go solo all the way 2. You can skip fighting monsters (whatever it takes to get to JK faster) 3. Once you defeat Jelly King, proceed straight to the elevator and say youre done through guild chat. To kick off the official Order of Venus Holiday Events, we will start with another good 'ol gate time-attack party run! le Rules: ~ Roarmulus Twins gate ~ Party Run Only, no solo. Today's Holiday event is a bit easier, since it involves something everyone already does best: farming Vanaduke! Just a little something-something to keep you guys busy, nothing majorly special...yet. Short and Simple Rules: ~ Something New: Party with SOMEONE WHOM YOU DON'T OFTEN PLAY WITH! ~ Vanaduke gate, Depth 23-Depth 28 ~ Party Run Only, no solo. At least 3 Required in order to qualify! ~ No time limit. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place party winners! When: ~ 3:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (California) ~ As soon as we get at least 3 parties to participate! The more the merrier!
