The Crash Site is where new knights begin at. They find they've awakened in a new world.

Waking in a New World

Rhendon greets the new knights with the following message:

You just hit the surface of Cradle. My escape pod crashed just north of your position. We should meet up and find the nearest rally point.
Be careful and ready your sword, there are hostile creatures everywhere!

At the end of the Crash Site, Rhendon meets the knight again and issues the following warning:

I've established a comlink with Knights that have formed a Rescue Camp up ahead. If you head north, you should eventually reach it.
I'm going to stay here for now and locate any other Knights that have crashed in the area. I'll meet you at the Rescue Camp before sunset.
And should you encounter anything really dangerous, press <X> to use your shield!

Tips

  • How to Move
Hold the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to move. You will always move toward the cursor. You may also use the arrow keys or WASD keys to move.
  • How to Attack
Use the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON or the Z KEY to attack.
  • Hidden Treasure
Try clearing out these shrubs. Plants and other destructible objects often hide treasures.
  • Breakable Blocks
Some blocks like these can be broken. Attack them to clear the path.
  • Monsters!
Look out! Up ahead is a pack of wild jelly cubes. When you are close enough, you will automatically target the nearest monster. They will be illuminated with a light column.
  • Have a Heart
Break these blocks to receive hearts. Hearts restore your health. You cannot pick them up unless you need them.
  • Switching Weapons
You can cycle between equipped weapons with the SPACE BAR or MOUSE WHEEL. Try equipping your handgun.
  • Explosive Blocks
Explosive blocks will harm anything around them when they are set off. This includes you! Take them out from a safe distance with your handgun.
  • Leaping Lizards!
Those chroma whelps up ahead can lash you with their tongues from afar. Avoid facing them when they get ready to strike.
  • Hidden Switches
Doors can often be opened by finding the right switch nearby. Have a look around. They are sometimes hidden under blocks.
  • Treasure Blocks
Treasure blocks are always a lucky find! They contain coins and useful items.
  • Keep Going!
You've almost made it to the Rescue Camp, run through the force barrier ahead!
  • Victory!
You've made it! Walk on ahead to enter the Rescue Camp.
