This item was introduced during the Confection Prize Box Promotion in August 2014.
Its stat values are almost identical to the Heater Shield: instead of Freeze resistance, the Power Mit provides Fire resistance.
Unlike other shields, the Power Mitt rests on the user's hand, instead of on the user's back, while in non-combat areas such as Haven as long as it is equipped to the Shield slot.
The Power Mitt features prismatic glowing stripes around a metallic pad on the back of the thick glove body.
Its description alludes to the Nintendo Power Glove in which it was quoted "You're playing with Power!" which with the Power Mitt "You're cooking with Power!"
