Lionheart was founded by St-Leone and Mawashimono as a guild that welcomes both long-time players and newer members with at least all 2* or better gear and at least a Soldier in prestige rank.

Our guild is a unique mentoring guild. This means that our goal is for our guild to be a place where you can grow both in your skills as player and in your ability to contribute to the greater good of the Spiral Knights community. Our Guild Master and Officers will be happy to mentor you toward these goals if you desire it.

We do a variety of runs, including all clockworks and bosses when possible, Tier 2 and 3 runs to obtain recipes from the vendor Basil at levels 13 and 23 for members to use or resell, and occasionally do both guild and random Lockdown for fun. It is not our goal to compete with other guild in order to be the most skilled guild; however, we would like to be known as one of the most friendly, well-mannered, helpful. Accordingly we emphasize the social aspect of the game as much as the actual PvE and PvP aspects.
+
If you are interested in joining the Lionheart guild, please send an in-game mail to one of our Officers or Guild Master with the words "I would like to join your guild". Applicants will receive a response within a few days. Or drop by our Guild Hall and ask to speak with the Guild Master or an Officer.

In order for our guild to be a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, we ask you to follow a few guidelines for playing and interacting.

+
1. Please avoid using foul or sexually explicit language. While an occasional swear word used in jest or mock anger may slip in, please remember that we have players from age 13 and above from many cultures, so please keep public posts free from offensive language or images.

2. Show respect at all times, especially toward Officers and the Guild Master. When you disagree with someone or a player does or says something you don’t like, try to work it out privately. DO NOT post personal attacks or anything intended to insult another player. Humility and empathy should be shown in your attempts to resolve any conflicts.

3. “Neither a beggar nor a borrower be” to paraphrase Shakespeare. Please do not ask ("beg") for things from other guild members such as crowns, energy or anything else of value. You can, however, politely (not demandingly) ask for help with a mission. The Guild Master and Officers would be happy to carry along one or two less-abled players.

4. Remain active. As Lionheart is a very active guild, we tend to remove inactive players whenever the population maximum is reached.

3. “Neither a beggar nor a borrower be” to paraphrase Shakespeare. This is true not just for crowns or energy, but also for help in completing a mission. Your Guild Master, Mawashimono, frequently does tier 2 boss runs (Jelly King and Roarmulous Twins), as well as the occasional Snarbolax run or venture into the Firestorm Citadel for a showdown with Lord Vanaduke himself. The GM and Officers would be happy to carry along one or two less-abled players. However, we are rarely willing to join you for some random mission or come into the Clockworks to revive you, so please don’t ask.

4. Use your words first. Do not send invites to join your party or become your friend or trade with you without first talking to the person and asking if they would like to. And do not invite guild members to join you if they are doing a mission.

5. Remain active. We generally remove any players who have been inactive for more than 10 days. If you plan on being absent longer than that, please notify Mawashimono in advance.

Advancement in the guild depends on your competency and attitude as a player. Other things we look at are: 1) time spent in the guild, 2) maturity in words and behavior, 3) contributions to both the guild and Spiral Knights community, 4) reputation as a player, 5) quality of your gear, 6) ability to successfully complete various missions.

Recruit – You will be a recruit for your first week while we get to know one another.

'''Guild Hall Guidelines'''
+
Member – After 1 week in the guild, you will be promoted to Member.

Personal Rooms:
+
Veteran – Players will become Veteran rank after they’ve been in the guild a month, if they’ve shown by their kindness, helpfulness and/or donations that they wish to do what they can to make both the Lionheart guild and the game in general more fun for everyone.

1) If you would like to share a room with your name on it in the guild hall, you can do this by sharing the cost of the upkeep. We are currently requiring a weekly deposit of 5,000 crowns per week for the privilege of sharing a room with 3 other players. private rooms are also available for 20,000 crwsn per week.
+
Officer - Veterans who have been in the guild for a minimum of 3 months and have demonstrated exceptional qualities and maturity will be eligible for promotion to Officer. A GM will approach you about possibly becoming an officer, so please refrain from asking to become one. You will be someone that we have come to trust, which takes times. Promotions to Officer rank will occur infrequently, (about 1/10 veterans), so please don't "expect" to become an officer nor be too disappointed or feel slighted if you are not promoted to this position.

2) You must buy whatever furnishings you want to put in your room. No Stealing from other rooms. We expect renters to furnish their rooms.
+
With promotion to Officer comes a few new powers and responsibilities. You can now use officer chat (/o) and you will have the power to invite players into the guild at your discretion. Although you will also have the power to remove players from our guild, that is an action that only Guild Masters will perform, and only when absolutely necessary. No one will ever be casually removed from the guild. Officers are expected to donate 10,000 crown per month to the GH.

Expansion: Mawashimono is the only one authorized to expand or purchase rooms. Please discuss with her any ideas about expansion.
+
Officers are an integral part of managing the guild's daily activities as you work with the other leaders of the guild to carry out the vision of the guild. You will be able to offer suggestions and give input more directly and readily. You will be expected to be a role model and mentor for other members.

Guests: Our Guild Hall is generally open to the public. Remember, your words and actions are representative of our guild, so please be polite to visitors.
+
Guild Master – There are currently no plans to add to this rank. GMs are expected to donate 20,000/month to the GH.

Guild Storage: Materials in storage are for crafting purposes only. Any player who removes materials or gear for the purpose of reselling them for personal profit will be demoted. Please try to donate the mats you used at a future time.
+
===Guild Hall Usage:===

Mist Wells: These look much prettier when they are glowing blue with mist in them, and we want to keep them that way at all times. Until SK fixes the broken anyone-can-use-any-amount mechanics, only the GM and Officers can use the mist wells. You must first deposit at least 500 Crystal Energy which will allow you to withdraw up to 600 Mist Energy. You must self-monitor how much you are using. Any Officer who obviously abuses the mist well will be demoted to member and banned from further usage.

Guild Treasury: Although members are not required to pay any upkeep, we encourage and appreciate your donations and rely on them for the continual upkeep and improvement of our Guild Hall.

Recruit – You will be a recruit for your first week while we get to know one another.
+
Interior Decorating: Furnishing for the guild may be purchased by any Officer once the required crowns and materials have been deposited into the Guild Treasury. Veterans are not allowed into Design Mode without the permission and/or supervision of the Guild Master or an Officer.

Member – You will be a Member for another week. We desire that our members have registered on the guild website and demonstrated a familiarity with our Guildlines. After 2 weeks in the guild, you will be eligible for promotion to Veteran.
+
Guests: Our Guild Hall is generally open to the public. Remember, your words and actions are representative of our guild, so please be polite to visitors. If someone is causing problems, please send an in-game mail to a Guild Master detailing the issues.

Veteran – In order to qualify for promotion to Veteran, you must have a good mix of 4* and 5* gear and the skills to match it. Basically, a vet should have 4-5* gear and be able to lead a party of through a Tier 2 boss mission without dying. A Guild Master or Officer will do a run with you if it is your desire to showcase your abilities for a Veteran position. Feel free to contact one of us if it is your desire to do so. Please remember, we will continue to value your presence and friendship just as much if you remain at the Member rank.
+
Guild Storage: Materials in storage are for crafting purposes only. Any player who removes materials or gear for the purpose of reselling them for personal profit will be demoted, or if several guild log pages of materials have been withdrawn, the player will be removed from the guild.

We have a vet test for 3 reasons.
+
Wells: These look much prettier when they are glowing blue with mist in them, and we want to keep them that way at all times. Any Officer who obviously abuses the mist well will be demoted to member and banned from further usage.

First, it allows newer players to see who can help them thru their missions, which is part of what our guild does.
+
Guild Treasury: Although members are not required to pay any upkeep, we encourage and appreciate your donations and rely on them for the continual upkeep and improvements to our Guild Hall. Veterans, Officers and Guild Master are required to make monthly donations.

Second, although originally there was no plan to have any skills tests whatsoever, players seem to expect and want some kind of skills test for this rank.
+
Personal Rooms: If you would like to have a room with your name on it in the guild hall, you can do this by sharing the cost of the upkeep. We are currently requiring an annual deposit of 100,000 crowns per month for the privilege of naming a room with up to 3 other players. You may use whatever furnishings are available in storage or buy more.

Third, it creates a talent pool from which we select our officers.
+
===Our Pledge of Allegiance:===

Officer - Veterans who have been in the guild for a minimum of one month and have demonstrated exceptional qualities and maturity in the 6 areas above will be eligible for promotion to Officer. One of the Guild masters will approach you about possible becoming an officer, so please refrain from asking to become one. You will be someone that we have come to trust, which takes times. Promotions to Officer rank will occur infrequently, and will depend on the combined discretion and wisdom of the GM and other Officers.
+
1) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will serve fairly in this guild and make the right choices to the best of their knowledge and ability.

+
2) We pledge that Veterans and Members will show proper respect to the Officers and Guild Master and that higher ranking members will treat subordinates with care and not belittle them so that they leave the guild in the future.

+
3) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will provide feedback, both positive or negative, to help you develop and grow as a member of the guild.

Officers are an integral part of managing the guild's daily activities as you work with the other leaders of the guild to carry out the vision of its founders. You will be able to offer suggestions and give input more directly and readily. You will be expected to be a role model and mentor for other members.
+
4) We pledge that you will advance in the guild based on our rank promotion descriptions as laid out in our website and wiki site without favoritism.

Guild Master – There are currently no plans to add to this rank.
+
5) We pledge that this guild will be friendly and helpful within reason, providing guidance and assistance as we are able.

A pledge from us to you ~ Although this guild was founded and somewhat named after St-Leone, we understand that the longer you are in a guild, the more emotionally invested you become in it. Please try to keep a proper perspective on the game as opposed to real life. This guild is but a small part of a "game" we all play and should never be taken too seriously. As much as possible, we will strive to make this not just "our" guild but also "your" guild as well.

Instilling the Faith to Believe and the Courage to Act

Guild Founder: Mawashimono (Mayaura)
Approx. Population: 200 +
Guild Master(s):

Mayaura

Guild Officer(s):

Dispicle-Of-Cronos, Gunide, Rhaene, Mgzoa, Nebrochenezzar

Lionheart was started and built by Mayaura as a guild that welcomes both long-time players and newer members.

Our guild is a unique mentoring guild. This means that our goal is for our guild to be a place where you can grow both in your skills as player and in your ability to contribute to the greater good of the Spiral Knights community. Our Guild Master and Officers will be happy to mentor you toward these goals if you desire it.

If you are interested in joining the Lionheart guild, please send an in-game mail to one of our Officers or Guild Master with the words "I would like to join your guild". Applicants will receive a response within a few days. Or drop by our Guild Hall and ask to speak with the Guild Master or an Officer.

We look forward to getting to know you and enjoying this wonderful game together.

Guildlines:

In order for our guild to be a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, we ask you to follow a few guidelines for playing and interacting.

Ranks and Promotions:

Advancement in the guild depends on your competency and attitude as a player. Other things we look at are: 1) time spent in the guild, 2) maturity in words and behavior, 3) contributions to both the guild and Spiral Knights community, 4) reputation as a player, 5) quality of your gear, 6) ability to successfully complete various missions.

Recruit – You will be a recruit for your first week while we get to know one another.

Member – After 1 week in the guild, you will be promoted to Member.

Veteran – Players will become Veteran rank after they’ve been in the guild a month, if they’ve shown by their kindness, helpfulness and/or donations that they wish to do what they can to make both the Lionheart guild and the game in general more fun for everyone.

Officers are an integral part of managing the guild's daily activities as you work with the other leaders of the guild to carry out the vision of the guild. You will be able to offer suggestions and give input more directly and readily. You will be expected to be a role model and mentor for other members.

Guild Master – There are currently no plans to add to this rank. GMs are expected to donate 20,000/month to the GH.

Guild Hall Usage:

Interior Decorating: Furnishing for the guild may be purchased by any Officer once the required crowns and materials have been deposited into the Guild Treasury. Veterans are not allowed into Design Mode without the permission and/or supervision of the Guild Master or an Officer.

Guests: Our Guild Hall is generally open to the public. Remember, your words and actions are representative of our guild, so please be polite to visitors. If someone is causing problems, please send an in-game mail to a Guild Master detailing the issues.

Guild Storage: Materials in storage are for crafting purposes only. Any player who removes materials or gear for the purpose of reselling them for personal profit will be demoted, or if several guild log pages of materials have been withdrawn, the player will be removed from the guild.

Wells: These look much prettier when they are glowing blue with mist in them, and we want to keep them that way at all times. Any Officer who obviously abuses the mist well will be demoted to member and banned from further usage.

Guild Treasury: Although members are not required to pay any upkeep, we encourage and appreciate your donations and rely on them for the continual upkeep and improvements to our Guild Hall. Veterans, Officers and Guild Master are required to make monthly donations.

Our Pledge of Allegiance:

1) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will serve fairly in this guild and make the right choices to the best of their knowledge and ability.

2) We pledge that Veterans and Members will show proper respect to the Officers and Guild Master and that higher ranking members will treat subordinates with care and not belittle them so that they leave the guild in the future.

3) We pledge that the Guild Master and Officers will provide feedback, both positive or negative, to help you develop and grow as a member of the guild.

4) We pledge that you will advance in the guild based on our rank promotion descriptions as laid out in our website and wiki site without favoritism.

5) We pledge that this guild will be friendly and helpful within reason, providing guidance and assistance as we are able.
