Shankles are a type of monster found in the Clockworks. They deal damage on contact.

Shankles are considered a Drone monster, and thus follow a set path and do not target or follow players. They also drop nothing other than hearts and Vitapods.

Strategy

With the exception of Golden Shankles, Shankles that are destroyed have a chance of dropping hearts and a smaller chance of dropping Vitapods. When you clear out an area and are low on health, it's best to head back to a previous area which contain Shankles, and destroy them to obtain some health.
