By far the most important selling point of our guild and the major thing we look for in every single one of our recruits is the desire to be the farm of a warm, welcoming community of players who want to have fun together, help each other and enjoy themselves. We don't tolerate people being dicks, we don't tolerate any sort of discrimination and we don't tolerate people just generally being all around unpleasent people whether it be directed at members of the guild, or at the SK community at large. We frequently do recipe runs if someone's looking for a recipe, just as we're always willing to help out people progressing through mission ranks, or whom need help with bosses. We're not here to give in to the demands of beggars nor carry pepople who have no desire to improve, but we're always looking to help one another and just generally make the guild a fun place to be.

Beyond the Core is home to several players whom use mixed-generic loadouts you see every other player using. It is however also home to pure swordsmen, gunners and bombers as well people who would rather do crazy things like make sets based around status themes or just use unauthordox weapons like the Wild Hunting Blade or Biohazard in the Clockworks. We don't allow elitism about what gear people are using, now we will always offer advice about what upgrade paths are the best choices and which kinds of gear are the best when asked; nobody is going to tell you that the Volcanic Pepperbox is better than the Blitz Needle simply to make hispters feel better. But despite being willing to provide honest advice when asked, we welcome and encourage people to use whatever gear they want to use, and help people develop their own unique playstyles, or tutor people who want to learn pre-existing ones.

A helpful, friendly community

By far the most important selling point of our guild and the major thing we look for in every single one of our recruits is the desire to be the farm of a warm, welcoming community of players who want to have fun together, help each other and enjoy themselves. We don't tolerate people being dicks, we don't tolerate any sort of discrimination and we don't tolerate people just generally being all around unpleasant people whether it be directed at members of the guild, or at the SK community at large. We frequently do recipe runs if someone's looking for a recipe, just as we're always willing to help out people progressing through mission ranks, or whom need help with bosses. We're not here to give in to the demands of beggars nor carry people who have no desire to improve, but we're always looking to help one another and just generally make the guild a fun place to be.

Varieties of playstyles

Beyond the Core is home to several players whom use mixed-generic loadouts you see every other player using. It is however also home to pure swordsmen, gunners and bombers as well people who would rather do crazy things like make sets based around status themes or just use unorthodox weapons like the Wild Hunting Blade or Biohazard in the Clockworks. We don't allow elitism about what gear people are using, now we will always offer advice about what upgrade paths are the best choices and which kinds of gear are the best when asked; nobody is going to tell you that the Volcanic Pepperbox is better than the Blitz Needle simply to make hipsters feel better. But despite being willing to provide honest advice when asked, we welcome and encourage people to use whatever gear they want to use, and help people develop their own unique playstyles, or tutor people who want to learn pre-existing ones.

Weekly Shadow Lair Runs

Once of the major draws of Beyond the Core for end-game level players is that we strive to have Shadow Lair runs weekly. Since the founding of the guild we've had at least one every single week, generally speaking Echoez will always be hosting one and if she isn't anyone is welcome to. As we grow as a guild we will strive to get multiple Shadow Lair going per week!

Guild Blast Network / Lockdown

Before I write anything here, I do want to stress that we are NOT a Lockdown-oriented guild. There are a lot of players with Beyond the Core who play Lockdown and Echoez has found herself on the leader-boards on multiple occasions, but most of the guild's time is spent in the Clockworks or just generally hanging out. If you're the sort of person who wants to play Lockdown 24/7 a guild like Dark Guardians may be better suited for you.

Now with that being said as we do have a lot of Lockdown players, we do aim to establish Guild Lockdown teams and face off against other guilds, ideally having both an EU and US team. However this is something that can't really be formally established until the guild is larger. However guild matches can and will be arranged when possible, so don't be put off entirely if you're a fan, simply understand that it is not our guild's major focus.

Random Events

From silly nonsense like trying to find days when Vandergant is actually online and confetti parties, to more serious stuff like fashion contests, unique loadout contests and all sorts of other nonsense, we aim to make sure the guild has some sort of interesting and odd event going on at least once a month, and as we grows as a guild these sorts of competitions will get more frequent, diverse and even offer prizes to the winners.
