[edit] [purge] Template documentation

Usage

To link to a specific point on a monster's "genus" page. Example: Red Rover will navigate to Gun Puppy#Red Rover. Linking includes small icon visuals indicating the monster's family and status infliction abilities.

Code

{{monster|NAME}}

Example

See what links here for examples of this template in action.

Notes

This template space was previously used to display visuals, drop, encounter, and misc. information about an individual monster "species" on that monster's "genus" page. This method of display is now accomplished via Template:MonstrousProfile. As part of the monster overhaul, this template's name space has been requisitioned as a linking template to be both convenient and consistent with other linking templates.
