This is a documentation subpage for Template:Proposed deletion (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Use this template when you want to propose an article for deletion. Use this template only when a page is in a gray area and requires further debate. If it's clearly violating a rule or policy, use CSD instead. If you can express the reason for proposing deletion in a sentence or less, use PDB instead.
