Who I am:

I'm just your average guy who likes playing games, eating pizza, likes the colour purple and enjoys sport when not playing video games. I'm over 18, I love PC's a lot, my time zone is AEST, and I should probably have less spare time.

Backstory:

Cdst started off his adventure in the crazy new world in June 2012, and was wondering what to make of this new place he was confronted by. Trying to find his purpose in Spiral Knights, Cdst moved onwards, out of base camp and into the town; Haven, it was beautiful.

One day, Cdst was hanging out in Haven when he came across some Vanguards, and thought to himself 'I wish I looked that cool and had cool weapons like them'.

So off Cdst went on his quest to be a better player, learning from the best. As Cdst's skills improved, so did his costumes. Now this got rather boring for Cdst, and then he later became uninterested in Spiral Knights, all because he got stuck on his first Candlestick Keep, and to this very day still hates the level.

After taking a really long time off from playing Spiral Knights he later went back in 2013, where he realised that mist energy was gone for good, along with the removal of using energy for lifts, and the addition of orbs (a pain to find) and fire crystals (which he dislikes because it removed the heating system from 2012 which he thought was really good). He finally had got the Vanguard rank, and looked as dashing as all the other Vanguards he had admired when he was a new player..

After finishing all his rank missions he made it his goal to get all items in the game, that were functional and later get some stellar armour sets so he too can have a lot of cool costumes to use for various occasions. First it started with his array of guns, which to this day he is still collecting, having most of the guns already ,and gradually getting all gear that you could possibly want and dream about. He also enjoys to help out his guild when he can and help out the new players, if they are not begging :)

And that pretty much sums up Cdst's story to where he is now.

Gameplay:

I enjoy playing Spiral Knights and am usually recipe hunting, doing stuff that I haven't already done and getting things I don't yet have, but often visit the Haven Town Square, and Guild hall just to mess around and have fun after a long day in Clockworks grinding, trying to get something I don't yet have. If you need help with a mission, I am usually inclined to help you as long as you don't beg/annoy me, and the mission is actually hard for your rank, not just you wanting me to carry you.

Friends:

- Anyone who is kind,and doesn't push my buttons.

- Most Guild mates are my friends. I however have the max 250 friends, so if you are not in my friends list , and again if I find you to be an acceptable person then you are basically on my friends list!

- Anyone who helps the wiki to grow, to become better and have an accurate representation.

User:Novaster (although permanently retired now): For their massive amount of work that they have done and the helpful criticism, to make me a better wiki editor.

User:Hikaru: For their helpful feedback regarding not putting Auction House Economy onto pages along with not reuploading, which has helped me a lot.

User:Cronus (Game Master): For their perseverance, with the some of the spam pages I and others reported that were getting created on the wiki, and the removal of all other spam pages I had not reported, yet I could see (because it is very hard and time consuming to put <delete> tags on all of those pages as there is a lot of those pages...)

And anyone else who helps to make the wiki a better place, along with making the game a better place :)

General Strategy:

I am usually just kiting enemies with any type of sword and gun and charge up before giving the enemy an almighty blow, I don't use weapon slots or trinkets,I just rely on a decent internet connection and my skill to carry me through the levels.

My Contributions

Updating Outdated images to current

I have been carefully uploading new updated versions of the pictures on the wiki you will currently see in game, and will continue to do so, until roughly 25% of outdated images are complete, it is a big task so I don't expect all of it to be done soon.

Fixing up pages with Vandalism

I am making sure that vandals work gets deleted and the user banned from the wiki, I help this happen by putting {delete} tags on vandals pages by seeing recent changes to the wiki and if they are not positive, and don't contribute in a meaningful way I put the tag on and report the user for violation of the Wiki.

Fixing up outdated information on pages

As you have probably seen already I have updated Vatel's image and plan to completely fix all outdated information on that page for both players old and new so that you can see all of the items he has, including gunner stuff.

Any other project I am working on is probably in the things to do page on the Wiki.
