Proposed deletion

At minimum this requires a re-write for formatting and clarity. Completing the game mechanics (particularly in a tone that doesn't shout "Occupy AH") would be good otherwise. For example, explaining the relationship between sinks/"fountains" within whichever economic model an editor believes to be most applicable. --Scribo 06:28, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Keep the Page!=

Yes, the original author(s) do need better clarity and need to prevent the "Occupy AH" tone. But, this guide is worth salvaging because there are tons of knights out there who can expand on it. I say we keep it! --MadBomber3 20:56, September 23, 2013 (PST)

Will Edit

Going to try and clean up this page. I'll list my goals for the revision as well as any steps I intend to take or have already completed to improve this page.

Goal 1- Change tone to reflect a dispassionate and subjective point of view.

1.1- move all mentions of currency manipulation into a new subsection

1.2- edit the material to remove the disgruntled flavor of the article

Any suggestions, comments or criticisms welcome.

Day 1: Informative and Boring

I've split the article in two. The first half is an incomplete, informative and boring explanation of what an economy is, The second half is the article as it was before. Eventually all the information from the second half will be sanitized and included with the first half, making a proper, completed article. I've decided I wanted to overhaul the structure of the article instead of rewording it, so I'm adding two additional goals to this editing project and reorganizing their priority:

Goal 1- Provide the Readership with a condensed yet precise understanding of what an economy is.

Goal 2- Ensure that the material is easy to understand.

Goal 3- Ensure that the material is professional and subjective.

And here are the steps I will take to achieve these goals:

Step 1- Provide Article Structure (In Progress...)

Step 2- Accurately Describe an Economy (In Progress...)

Step 3- Describe Spiral Knight's Economy as a direct example (Not Started)
