In an effort to bring things up to a consistently high level, I've created a set of base pages that you can use and modify. These contain the appropriate fields, descriptions, templates, and category info for your item. In most cases, I've also tried to include examples of special tweaks (like changing the color of links in the template) and complicated recipes with many ingredients and "special" requirements. Feedback and additional modifications are welcome.

The bazaar is being wiped; I'm saving the text of my two bazaar threads here, to re-use later.

The "buying recipes" thread

There are lots of threads for people looking to buy and sell spare recipes, so I thought I'd start a single common thread for quick browsing. The goal is to make it easy to tell which recipes are in demand, so that people can buy and re-sell them.

The more we help each other find what we need, the better a job we can do at testing all the items out there!

Suggestions

1. Give your in-game name when requesting a recipe. Otherwise, it's hard to deliver!

2. If you just purchased the requested recipe, post a quick reply so that no one else gets stuck with a copy. (name the target person AND item: "JohnSmith, I have the pie recipe you requested. Contact me from 5-8pm PST tonight")

3. For more detailed buyer/seller arrangements, use talk pages on the wiki as a way to send personal messages

4. Once you have what you want, edit the post to remove that item. Again, this is a courtesy to other potential "recipe traders".

5. Please only post an offer for what you currently have the crowns to pay for; remember that your "buyer" has to plunk down some money up front to get that item for you.

My original thread:

I'm offering a variety of items for sale. These include hard-to-find recipes, pre-made 4* items, and hard to find ingredients. (In most cases, my markup includes costs of acquisition) All proceeds will go towards the purchase of more recipes and items to be documented on the wiki: spend now, and reap the benefits later!

Recipes:

If you are buying a recipe, PLEASE provide your player name. If I can not find out who you are, I won't be able to reserve the item for you. Likewise, I'd prefer to not hold an item in reserve for more than 3 days. If you are claiming a recipe, please suggest a pickup time, and be sure to have payment ready immediately on delivery.

2* recipes:

• none currently

3* recipes:

• none currently

4* recipes:

• Silversix

• Sunset Duster

• virulisk suit

5* recipes:

• none currently

Pre-made items
Why spend time hunting for (and buying) recipes, when you can get the item directly? I can craft an instant pre-made item for you, from one of the 185+ recipes I know. My fees and limits are as follows (for advanced upgrade items, crafting costs include the cost of any "precursor" equipment)

Unique Variants:
See a subsequent post in this thread for details.

1-3* recipes: A great deal!

• Price = crafting cost + markup (10-20% of the crown cost)

• Inventory: just about any all 1-3* recipe

• Item requirements: I will provide all ingredients required, or you can contribute ingredients as you see fit

4* Recipes
These take a bit more prep time, since I have to level them first. Crafting by request.

• Price: crafting cost (crowns and energy) + markup (20% of the energy cost)

• Inventory: Special orders by request. A Silvermail is available for immediate purchase. (allow 3 days delivery for any other item)

• Item requirements: I will provide all common ingredients; unusual ingredients are negotiable for an additional fee.

5* recipes
Some special items available. You may need to provide special ingredients or (unbound) level 4 versions of your item, so allow several days for delivery; in return I will need to trust you with collateral for your item. Markup and fees will vary.

• Inventory of currently craftable items: Aegis, Crown of the Fallen, Justifier Hat, Royal Jelly Mail, Deadshot Mantle, Volcanic Demo Helm. Bombs: Irontech Destroyer, Radiant Sun Shards, Shivermist Buster, Venom Veiler. Handguns: Hail Driver, Prisma Driver. Swords: Cold Iron Vanquisher(?)

• For immediate purchase: Radiant Sun shards (you may need to provide a crystal bomb)

Premium Ingredients
Prices will vary by item and rarity; star level is not always a good indicator of rarity. I will accept crowns, energy, and/or rare items in trade.

This is a partial list comprising only the more interesting and commonly requested items. Others may be available, so feel free to ask. Trading materials is fun!

Archetype Item Template pages (probably outdated)

There are a lot of item pages on the wiki, and the quality varies widely.

In an effort to bring things up to a consistently high level, in the early days of the wiki I created a set of base pages that you can use and modify. These contain the appropriate fields, descriptions, templates, and category info for your item. In most cases, I also tried to include examples of special tweaks (like changing the color of links in the template) and complicated recipes with many ingredients and "special" requirements. Feedback and additional modifications are welcome, but I do not actively maintain these pages and have not for some time.

Thanks to User:Equinox, most pages have already been brought up to a similar standard. However, these pages are maintained for reasons of historical and practical interest.

Gear

Gear is the umbrella term for armor, helmets, and shields. All items that use the armorinfo template are classified as gear by default.

Weapons

Do you like poking things with sticks? Then weapons are for you! Your choices include:

Materials

No one ever asks what war is good for, but lots of people ask about blue shards.
