This material has been available since release 2011-04-04 when the game officially launched.
The description of this item used to be "A delectable spice hoarded by Clockworks beasts in anticipation of a winter that never comes. In powdered form, it has a terrible habit of clinging to absolutely everything." It was changed after someone suggested on the forums that it was inappropriate after the update in which freeze themed monsters were added.1
