A Boss is an unusual creature unlike the monsters encountered in the Clockworks. Bosses are much stronger than normal monsters and often require specific tactics to defeat them. Most bosses share the same weaknesses and resistances as their monster family, and can be made significantly easier with the right equipment.
There are four main bosses which appear at the end of a Tier in both the Arcade and Missions. These bosses drop Tokens which can be exchanged for rewards with Brinks. More powerful versions of the four main bosses await at the end of Shadow Lairs and drop more tokens than usual.
In addition, there are several Mission exclusive minibosses which do not drop tokens. While not as strong as the main bosses, they still pose a significant threat and should not be taken lightly.
There are currently 15 bosses in total.
