<Of Draco Dusk> is a guild focused on developing spiral knights into proper players. This includes preparing knights for end-game missions, teaching the tricks of the game, maintaining a wealth of knowledge, and fostering a positive attitude. Any Tier is welcome. To become a recruit, an individual must:
---Have read the "Core Rules" and "becoming a recruit" information on this wiki.
---Run a mission with an officer or the Guild Master.
---Answer a series of questions asked by the Guild Master.
---Be patient, be understanding, and have a general good vibe.

To become a member, a recruit must:
---must show consistently polite, nice behavior.
---be in the guild at least 30 days.
---This rank-up may take some time, as we need to get a very clear idea of your character.

To become a Veteran, a member must:
---help an individual of lower in-game rank (they do not have to be in the guild) with a mission they have extreme difficulty with.
---The person helped must tell an officer or the Guild Master which guild member helped them, and if their experience was satisfactory.

To become a Midnight Veteran, a Veteran must:
---Gone above and beyond the call of the Guild (helps out a lot, donates to vault, keeps players happy).
---be Vanguard
---Have a Dragon Costume of some sort (even the 1* spiral scale set counts) to prove your love of dragons.

To be an Instructor an individual must:
---have an apprentice.
---have approval of the action by the Guild Master, as this activity is very important, sensitive, and easily taken advantage of.

To be in the Shadow Circle, an individual must:
---have completed a Shadow Lair.

To be a Crimson Hammer, an individual must:
---have completed all tiers of Operation Crimson Hammer.

The Officers' Rings
Officer Ring positions are closed once filled. Officers are chosen based on their enthusiasm, responsible behavior, and activity levels during vacations.

Rank Expectations

~~Every member of any rank is required to maintain the expectations of their rank, and every rank below their own.~~

Guild Master: Novaster will be the deciding word for guild issues, maintain the raffle and vault accounts, approve recruits, test potential recruits on Wednesdays, and approve rank ups.

Devil's Advocate: Corrider will contribute an opinion for the most sensitive guild issues.

Officers are expected to be: very active (with the exception of Corrider, as we occasionally need an unbiased opinion), show patience, be a permanent member, show exemplary gaming skill, and have been a Midnight Veteran (to prove mission availability and sufficient gaming skill to help with missions.)

PLEASE NOTE that both officer rings are of equal status. They are named according to their general duties (penumbra is closer to "lighter" recruit issues). The officer rings serve as the left and right claws of the Guild. There are always three officers per ring, and officers can request to have their position moved from one to the other if a swap wants to be made. Main differences: umbra ring has decision control over Midnight proposals, while Penumbra Ring has control over Teacher Titles and lower rank proposals. In this sense, the umbra ring is less active, but has more important decisions to make - so an officer can choose their burdens.

Umbra Officer's Ring: takes care of guild issues, proposes rank ups (all except teacher), proposes removals, unanimous opinion will call Penumbra Ring to an issue the Guild Master disagrees with. In this instance, the issue has become a "Major Issue, Folks", and requires unanimous opinions of both the Umbra and Penumbra Rings to override the Guild Master's decision.

Penumbra Ring: takes care of guild issues, proposes most rank ups for (recruits --> members) and (members --> veterans), proposes Teacher Titles, must be on duty for possible Major Issues.

Midnight Veterans' Circle: To be accepted into the Midnight Veterans' Circle, a veteran must: be "teacher qualified" and/or an Instructor, have Veteran Status, be vanguard, have unanimous Umbra Ring support, and have Guild Master approval. Being in this circle is a special position, and opinions are taken into serious consideration by Officers and Guild Masters. Midnight Veterans are expected to be permanent members.

Crimson Hammers: have completed all tiers of Operation Crimson Hammer.

Recruits: polite conversation, patience, decent "active player" status, patience, did we mention patience?

Being an Instructor

Having an apprentice means that an individual has decided to become a very personal teacher, a.k.a an Instructor, to a recruit of the guild. An Instructor is expected to provide any materials needed for transmuting (with the exception of shadow materials), be available to help with missions, and provide a full 3* chroma set to their chosen apprentice (if they don't already have one), once the apprentice has shown themselves to be an exceptional learner. Once the Instructor has helped the apprentice defeat the Roarmulus Twins, apprenticeship ends but is still formally acknowledged. This means materials no longer need to be provided. Since having an apprentice is a step above the call of Draco Duty, it is not required to rank up.

Being an Apprentice

Being an apprentice gives a player an excellent opportunity to advance through the game. However, it would be far too easy to take advantage of being an apprentice, so becoming an apprentice is a matter of a Guild Member offering to become your Instructor. Asking will get you nowhere.

Being a Teacher

Being a Teacher: Answering any question about the game to the best of your ability, running missions with the primary purpose of teaching combat techniques, offering tips about secret areas and game manipulation, forming gatherings in haven and concocting team strategies. Teacher status will be proposed by any individual of the Penumbra Ring, and decided by the Guild Master, if the individual can answer ten of the Draco 101 Basic Test questions. Being a Teacher is an active role, so be prepared to answer loads of questions! Note: Midnight Veterans can choose whether or not to maintain their Teacher status, but must have still passed the test.

Students (anyone not a Teacher, or even Teachers, because we all learn all the time): check the list of Teachers to know whom you can ask questions about the game, and get precise, correct answers!
Teachers: You must answer 10 randomly selected questions from the Draco 101 Basic Test! (Which only the Guild Master has - studying is done by playing the game!)

Vault Specifications

The Guild Vault is a reservoir of crowns separate from the Raffle.

Members have the OPTION to deposit crowns, items, recipes, or materials at any time. This is a DONATION on the depositor's part.

Even though anyone can donate, only members of the rank Midnight Veteran and above can take a loan, since a loan is serious business and we need to trust you. Since Midnight Veteran rank is reachable by any person with a righteous heart, this is fair.

The purpose of the Guild Vault is to provide crowns for (probably one person at a time)"emergencies": if an auction for a RARE item is desired, or a personal trade is pending. This vault is NOT to be used for general transmuting, buying Hall of Heroes recipes, etc.

When cr are taken from the vault, you are on a loan. You will not be charged interest, but you are expected to do NOTHING ELSE until you pay the loan back. This guild is based on trust and honor, which is why the vault will even work in the first place.

Note: recipes, materials, and items are bought at a low price, the crowns go into the vault. These three categories are not considered loans.

Vault Vendor Prices:
1* items: 500 crowns
2* items: 800 crowns
3* items: 8000 crowns
Materials: same price you sell them to a vendor for, with the exception of shards, which are five crowns a piece.
Recipes: 500 crowns more than buy price.

Do not give anyone but the character "Draco-Dusk-Vault" or "Novaster" crowns when making a deposit.
