Organizing & Cleaning Category Images

This Image bothers me on so many levels. Bad tag, and it's not a true visual of the situation - that horizontal zigzag line doesn't appear in-game...I get what this image is meant to do but I don't think it's appropriate. The image is technically of an item, yes, in that it is of an item's...tooltip...thing...but compared to most other tag specifics, it just doesn't make sense. Could we delete this image...if not, could we change the tag to {{wiki image}}? I would just change the file that shows up on the Unique Variant page and add a delete tag myself, but this weird image is protected, so I need to check here first. -Novaster 04:47, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

There are lots of images in Category:Item images that don't have tags that make sense. I have {{text image}} and {{interface image}} tags that I think would be appropriate for most of these, but I can't edit some of them. -Novaster 05:06, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

I do not. I've made/there are the following categories:

{{interface image}} if there's clickable button things or {{text image}} for if there's no clickable button things,

{{news image}}

{{obsolete image}}

{{screenshot image}}

and I think "File:Unique variant.png" should just be deleted for reasons stated above.

I'd love to go through Category:Item images and Category:Official images and fix/add various tags, but yeah I can't.

Would it be best to unprotect files that are not sensitive regarding billing? Or just temporarily unprotect them so I can tag them? Early wiki days were weird. -Novaster 20:13, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
