Yay Armor!
Nice job on that page! No worries about the size warning, I'll eventually switch the format for the rows to a template that will hopefully cut down on it a bit. --Equinox 02:39, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks! And I suspect the helmets summary table will need the same trimmings as the armors page does, not that it's urgent or anything ^^ Saphykun 00:34, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Nice work, Saphy! Are you planning to do the weapon pages as well? (I'm deciding on how to update my to-do list) And for Equinox... Whenever the tables are coded up in wiki format, we may want to go through and remove all the old armor stats at the same time; there's a lot of outdated and incorrect information on there. --Pauling 03:20, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- Considering the rate I'm going at, I could probably very well do the weapons pages too! Not this weekend, though. I can only do so much Wiki work before erring (derrrrrrrrrrp) :D Saphykun 03:45, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
But is it art?
I'm looking for new ways to use mist energy, and I noticed that your goals now include acquiring as many items as possible so that you can screenshot the art. That's expensive- but during the week, I use my mist energy for crafting anyway. If you get me a list of 5-6 base items that you need (up to 3*), I can craft those steps and save you a few hundred energy per item, at no cost to myself (or you). Just leave a note on my talk page. --Pauling 02:07, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- Tantarian suggests that it is possible to see new art without crafting the item. This can be done by the expedient of renaming some files (after making appropriate backups). I have not tried it, but it may be helpful. See User:Pupu for details. --Pauling 17:28, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- I think that we should avoid doing this for items that haven't yet been seen in game. Just my little vote for not doing what could be considered spoilers. I'm also not sure if this process would be frowned upon or not. --Equinox 17:59, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with Equinox about items that haven't been revealed in game: as a practical concern, those items could change before being released. The primary utility of something like this would be to obtain screenshots of items that have already been released, but would be prohibitively expensive to craft. (For example, each 5* gunslinger gear option costs 600 energy to craft; screenshotting all 8 total options would cost ~$14 in energy) --Pauling 18:06, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
- I saw the sneak peek preview Pupu proposed on his profile this morning. The main reason why I'm not overwriting any files in my SK folder is the risk of something breaking my client. Nothing personal against anyone - while I certainly would use Pupu's tutorial just so I can see myself wear the fishhead set, I can't help but feel that I would be jeopardizing something in my client. I get scared easily, see :) Saphykun 21:06, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, in some weird whatever, maybe to not accidentally erase information, when you reupload a file the summary is just a summary in recent changes and it doesn't save to the page to replace the previous text. Have to just edit it directly later. --Equinox 22:27, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Alchemy template
Switch to this to cut down on how long it is. --Equinox 00:29, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
