Template:Quote/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Quote (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

To allow control of description format around the wiki. At the moment, many editors have agreed to italicize descriptions because they are direct quotes from in-game.^[1] This may change in the future. This template allows instant control over many potential changes and can be incorporated into infoboxes or other templates if needed.

If there is an unusual source, list it here. Always quote the primary source, not a paraphrase, etc.
