Tectonic (Guild)
From SpiralKnights

News
- Hey guys. Just to let you know that if you're going to donate materials to the Guild for other Guildies to use, that's great! But please make sure they go in the Member/Veteran/Officer Storage which can be found on the second page of the Guild Console in the Guild Hall, NOT the Guild Treasury. Once they go in the Treasury there's no way of taking them out by anyone or using them until we get a Hunter's Lodge.
- The man behind Ron-Star and Princess-Troll has sadly decided to leave Spiral Knights permanently, and has deleted both the accounts; neither of the accounts under those names exist in-game anymore. Good luck Simon, we wish you all the best!
Guild Introduction
- Originally, Ron-Star created Tectonic after being a member of other guilds and finding that they had an elitist attitude; if you didn't have all the best gear, you weren't welcome, so he created a Guild that welcomed all kinds of players.
How to join
- Tectonic is open to anyone that can speak English and are frequent/daily players. Guildies should preferably have a friendly, helpful manner and enjoys the social aspect of Spiral Knights as much as simply "grinding" in the Clockworks. We also prefer if newer players have a minimum of a 2* gear set, although it's not a strict requirement. Thankfully it's not hard to get a 2 star set as it's quite cheap.
Oh and just like other Guilds, you can talk in the Guild chat by starting off your sentence with "/g " (Space included).
Guild rules
- No begging or asking for loans of any kind. You can however ask to be tabbed to the next floor of a dungeon if you need it.
- Mild adult words are tolerated in the Guild chat, but no excessive swearing. Nobody likes to see that.
- Respect all members. Treat other members as you would like to be treated.
- Speak English in the Guild channel. We have members from all over the world, but English is the acknowledged shared language in the Guild.
- This includes Textspeak. Please refrain from using Textspeak when talking in the Guild channel as it's hard to understand for those whose English isn't their native language.
- Members of a lower rank should only join higher ranked parties by invitation.
- If you need assistance with a mission, ask for help in the Guild Chat - "drive-by" invitations without asking for help tend to annoy players.
- We have a Member, Veteran and Officer storage for storing materials to help other players. You are allowed to withdraw some mats for use in Alchemy as that's what they're there for, but don't take the piss and take much more than necessary. Any thieves caught doing so will result in an immediate kick from the Guild, and we'll know as it's in the Guild Record.
Ranks and how to acquire them
Note: If you meet the equipment requirements to be promoted to a higher rank in the Guild, feel free to request a Loadout inspection from an Officer or Guild Master in the Guild Chat, or send an in-game mail to one if none are online. Please be sure that you have Full Inspect enabled.
Recruit
- Everyone joins as a Recruit. It really is as simple as that.
Member
- Alternatively, you can defeat either the Royal Jelly or the Roarmulus Twins once after joining the Guild.
Officer
The Officer position can only be offered by a Guild Master, and only if there are spaces available.
The prerequisites for an Officer position include:
- Being a mature and experienced player
- Having achieved the rank of Veteran
- Having been shown to be helpful to lower ranked members i.e. answering questions, raising morale within the guild
- And being regular/daily players.
Taking on an Officer role requires that daily tasks need to be completed which include, but are not limited to:
- Routinely checking the Events Log when logging in, to see if any Guild members have achieved the Boss requirements for a promotion.
- Inspecting members that are requesting promotions based on gear loadouts or Rank.
- Checking the guild list for inactive players once per day and removing any that are dormant.
Reasons to be removed from the Guild
- Continuing to not follow the Guild rules after getting warned.
- Having the rank of Recruit and being inactive for 7+ days.
- Having the rank of Member and being inactive for 14+ days.
- Having the rank of Veteran and being inactive for 28+ days.
- Stealing from the Storage for personal gain, drawing far more materials and equipment than necessary.
Final words
- This page is an evolving dynamic page that may have updates or new information at any time. Stop by again to check for news. If any member feels there is something missing from the page, or should be removed, please tell an Officer or a Guild Master so we may consider your opinion. Tectonic is a guild for everyone and we all can take part in shaping the way it develops. I look forward to seeing you in game!
